There will be yes, but as of now, the wiring will have to be done by the customer.

Will this HC bumper be available without the swing outs?

We're hoping to kickoff production towards the end of March but this is assuming all of our testing goes well. We'll be getting some images of the prototype posted up here in the net few weeks if all goes well.

Oh, man... I am so excited to see this work progressing. @Apogee Offroad was already the only BSM game in town. No idea why every other manufacturer stopped trying to solve that problem? Last piece of the puzzle is the swing arms.

+1 for Dual table setup that works with the tailgate down
+1 for Dual Sceptor water/fuel jerry cans
+1 for Joolca shower bracket mount location
+1 for 10 lb propane mount location

That's a lot of shit on the back, but I want it allllllllllll!!!! Hahaha.
I am a buyer when these are ready! :spending:Keep on truckin!

This was asked earlier and never answered. Any answer to this?
Really hoping it is a rated hitch receiver.

As pictured where? High clearance, no swing outs that is.

Please clarify: if I already purchased your rear 3rd gen bumper, would I have to weld something onto it to make these swingouts work? My bumper has not yet been installed, been too busy...

Gotcha, I figured the renderings of the HC and swing outs would suffice. I can post up some of just the HC later on if you'd like!

Thanks for the love! We will keep you posted on the progress of these features. Nothing is exactly promised, but we will do our best to keep every one of these in mind. You Tacoma guys sure love loading down your trucks! Hahaha. Cheers!

We're in the process of rating it. Sorry I didn't get around to a response earlier. We're still running stress/strain analysis tests on the bumpers to provide a rated weight. Currently there is no rated weight, just our personal testing. Handles a little over 9,000 lbs with no strain on the bumper. (The Tacoma on the other hand was struggling, haha)

Hey there. If you already purchased a bumper, there will be two weld-on brackets that will be included in the separate swing out kit! If your bumper was raw, I would advise waiting to powder coat until the swing out brackets are installed!

Ugh. Now I kind of wish I had just waited to order my bumper, plus got it powder coated from you. At least it's still sitting on the garage floor so I won't have to remove it when you finish the swing outs. Now to find a local shop to do the weld who won't screw it up...guess I have time lol...

Follow up question: since I don't know anything about powder coating, do I have to wait to coat those brackets until after they are welded onto the bumper, or can it be done from you and then I get someone to do the welding? Or does the heat ruin the powder coating? If so, I guess I can't get the swing out because I would have to have the entire bumper re-coated and this is quickly adding up to Too Much Money.

At the end of the day, the bumper would have to get re-coated. If the coating gets too hot it will melt off and run down the part. Sorry about that, we try and warn everyone who wanted to purchase the swing outs separately. If you get the carrier and bumper coated at the same time, there's a good chance that whatever shop does it for you will give you a package deal price.
