    285/70 17 BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2's on 17X9 SCS SR8 (-10 offset)

    It took countless hours here looking at hundreds of really cool builds and I changed my mind many times but ultimately, I found nothing that I liked better than 285/70 17s. I had originally decided to go with Nitto Ridge Grapplers but went with the BFG KO2 at the last minute and love them.

    BFG KM2 255/85r16 Bilstein 5100s OME 888, HD Dakar’s, JBA control arms, BAMF Shackle hangers and shackle.
    285/75R17s Toyo AT3 AT III E rated on black rhino boxer 17x8.5 -12 offset. I had 255/85r16 KM2s on method NVs. Really wanted to do something different and not follow the SCS trend like most others. Also I went against the crowd with these Toyos over BFG KO2s so far pretty happy. Ride amazingly better than my previous setup and will see how they do here in a few weeks in southern Utah during a week long trip over various terrain types. I am a little worried about the 2 ply sidewall and overlooked that aspect of them.

    Nothing too special or unique here, but I like them! 17x7 (+4mm offset) 4Runner TRD Pro wheels in gloss gunmetal with 265/70-17 Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus (load range SL) tires on stock OR suspension. Nice and smooth with no rubbing, although I took the OEM mudflaps off before putting these on just in case. The ride feels a little stiffer than the stock Goodyears, but nothing drastic. Road noise is very similar to the Goodyears and is pretty quiet for an AT tire.
