fixes a few background things going on with our flasher, fixes the flasher progress bar, clarifies flashing steps.

If you are on 1.2.9.5 this update is required.

So let’s say I just purchased VF tuner and tune packs last week, I have already emailed zendesk with my info, does this new update change anything when it comes to receiving the tunes? Or do we still need to wait to get the tunes. Not sure how this works. Will I have to use the master key with the new update If I’ve already used it and a credit?

No new master key, nothing changes with tunes / flashing, nothing like that.

updating the software is a very easy process. Simply download, install, done.

We don't have any update we can provide you until the new flash tool is ready for non vF Tuner users.

I’m lost because I haven’t been able to check this site everyday. So last week, I downloaded and updated the latest version to vFtuner 1.2.8.1, but now I’m seeing that 1.2.9.6 is the latest? If this was the latest now, any reason why there was an interim update to 1.2.8.1 only a week before?

Pardon if this has already been answered. So I just went to 1.2.9.6 and I previously had unlocked 04B33, as it shows in my list along the right side.

    1. Unlocked ID’s - When I go to my list of unlocked ID’s (04B33), and try to download BIN file from credit server, it errors. This is not available yet, correct?

    2. Credit VIN: Can I go ahead and enter my VIN to request credit to buy VIN or should we hold off for now? Do we have to pay to request for our VIN credit if we already paid for everything previously? I am a previous flash kit owner and also paid the $79 bucks upgrade for vFtuner and had previously paid to unlock 04B33.

Pardon the questions, need to get caught up on thread.

Just curious, how long after the initial purchase of VF tuner and a Tacoma tune pack should I expect to wait to receive my tunes? Not being impatient, just trying to get an idea of the wait time since I’m sure a bunch of people buy these tunes.

I’m also a previous flash kit owner and just upgraded. I plugged in the tactrix cable and it prompted me to unlock my VIN, which I did. Then emailed Matt and got my 04b33 tune files, tuned last. Tuned last night and I’m G2G.

You don't have to pay any more to unlock vin. The credits to do so are given to you to unlock 1 vin.

Thanks, do I still need to e-mail mat after I enter and unlock vin? Or am I good to go and do not require additional info from Mat to use?
