Before I dump $600+ on arms, what ya think?

    2inch lift, stock control arms

    Left.
    Camber 0.8.
    Caster. 1.4.

    Right
    Camber 0.7
    Caster 1.6

    My alignment tabs are

    Left.

    Rear. centered.
    Front centered

    Right
    Rear centered
    Front all the way inboard

My truck was wrecked on the passenger side before the lift

I'm wondering if high caster arms will allow me to sacrifice some of that high positive caster for better camber.

That’s not enough info to answer your question. The answer is take it to a frame shop and have them check the specs. If you can get the alignment into stock numbers with the arms it still doesn’t mean everything is straight.

What size tires? Are you rubbing? Does it wander on the road?

Just trying to figure out your concern

265/75r16 all terrains, no rubbing at all
It drives good. Just I can notice the positive camber. My tires poke out at the top. Opposite of the tuner look

I had the truck at the frame shop when it was wrecked out of my own pocket. Most of the damage was to the bed rear quarter.

Seems like how I understand the SPC arms are adjustable for BOTH Caster and Camber independent of the lower control arms.

    Is this correct?

Real question is of I go with JBA arms which gives me extra caster so I can sacrifice some of that high positive caster for better camber closer to zero.

I found some newish JBA from a local club member that he went long travel. So I can save ALOT of money going with those vs the SPC. But if I can't make it work, then I gotta save up for the SPC

I have JBAs and had no issue getting 0 camber and I have my caster set at 4*.

On my other tacoma, same thing, JBA arms, 3inch lift, 3.75 of caster, 0 camber. BUT this Tacoma the cam adjuster is maxed out.

I can get the JBA arms with 15k miles for $250 or the SPC for $600+.

Nope. Cams are good. I checked that before I did the lift, knowing my 09 had frozen cams and it was a nightmare. Just totally freaks me out that one is totally pulled in and the rest are dead center.

Imo. Whenever I see an adjuster maxed out. Tells me the alignment guy wasn’t fully aware of what to do and just kept adjusting until numbers looked good. The adjusters when done properly should be mirror images of each other.

Move the right rear cam all the way outward. That will increase caster and decrease camber. Both good. Then since the left cams are currently in the middle, you should have plenty of room for adjustment to match the right.

Correct. I was making the assumption of no bent suspension stuff. But yes if something is bent they may be different.

Hey Mudd you know what confuses me. When I was mechanic and did alignments. I’d always take all the adjusters and set them neutral and start from there so everything was being done the same from side to side, so many guys now just start from where the adjusters sit and imo that’s what messes them up.

I don’t care where the cams start. You need to turn the cams in the direction that improves the alignment. When you run out of adjustment, then you start worrying. There are so many things that affect the alignment that I would never expect the cams to be exactly the same side to side.
