Yes you don’t need a spacer that’s the beauty of having adjustable coil overs.

Exactly, the great thing abt coilovers is fine tuning the height. I only did the sway bar drop and ECGS bushing when I put mine in. I thought about maybe some angled shims for the rear but so far I havent encountered any vibrations.

On another note after running this setup for a few weeks now I'm pretty happy. I have to swap out my JBA UCA's when replacements come in and will probably make some additional adjustments since things have prolly settles a bit and I'll be getting the alignment re-checked. .

thanks for the response guys.... would the diff drop help to avoid the ecgs bushings?...i'm really trying to avoid that.....and you said that you were swapping uca's....i was under the impression that if your lift was 2.5" or less then you didn't really need them....no?....thanks again for the input!

As far as the UCA I believe you should be fine with the stock ones. I swapped out as I might push a little higher eventually and look to run some 255/85's and just wanted to be ready for any future plans. I'm not sure abt the diff drop in lieu of the ECGS, again I did it just because I was already tearing everything apart and would rather now then find out later I have to pull it all apart again.

You bet, I'm still catching on to this IFS stuff...always been a straight axle jeep guy. The aftermarket UCA's should give more travel and ball joint angle as well.

If you don't mind me asking...why are you swapping out the JBA UCAs? Is there a problem with them? Asking because I just received some but have not installed them yet. Waiting for my Eibach 2.0 Coilovers which should arrive sometime next week.

They are RMA'ing em due to some minor pitting in the powder coating. I reached out just letting them know for any future rust/flaking and they were quick to just issue an RMA. Not looking forward to the driver side swap. Otherwise no issue.

Thanks, scared me for a minute! I will inspect mine very closely now before I install them.

Spring 14” and rate is 600lbs. Valving is different from their stage 1 (a little higher performance). That is all I know.

Mine ship today from Eibach. Woohoo!

Ordered the 2.0 coilovers with rear shocks set directly from Eibach today... The kit is saying in stock online... I called and placed my order and was told they should ship next week.

    https://eibach.com/us/1920/E86-82-007-01-22-TOYOTA-Tacoma-pro-truck-coilover-stage-2

I just recently got a really good deal on the stage one, fronts and rears, with a couple sets of rear blocks... 1" and 2" blocks... But decided I'd rather use the stage 2.

Also have a diff drop kit, 1/4" spacer for the lean, and some longer bolts on the way from headstrong. Ordered the top plate spacer for the lean when I thought I was going to be using the stage one...

Questions.... I'm thinking I will run the coilovers with 2"blocks in the rear... And set the coilovers pretty close to top lift height to try and get close to 2.5" in the front and 2 inch in the back...

    1. Would coming close to maxing these coilovers out in height make the ride rough?

    2. And if I'm going that route, could I still use the top plate spacer for the lean and just set the coilovers the same?

    3. Anything else I might need to get before doing the install?

I ordered my Stage 2 kit a few weeks ago, rear shocks showed up last week, expecting fronts anytime now.

Doing the 1" Eibach blocks in the rear, and will raise the front about 1.5". Going mild, only going to be running 265/70/17 and want to keep just a little factory rake for those trips to home depot or lowe's.

    Awesome!

UPDATE: Dave @Eibach contacted me back, and they are shipping over a sway bar relocate kit (it was supposed to come with this, mine from Headstrong did not).

Is anyone else experiencing a slamming or bottoming out of the front shocks, or possible impacts with the sway bar?

Any small dips, or speed bumps (at slow /normal speed) cause a loud slam on the down travel of the tire. Going to double check everything is still bolted together, however I did this a couple weeks ago and everything was still right where I torqued it.

(I did contact Eibach already, they wanted hub-fender measurements on all 4 tires, waiting for a reply after that)

I'm sitting at 22 1/2 in the front, and 23 1/4 in the rear.

Would you see these coilovers as an upgrade over bilstein 5100’s on bumpy roads. My 5100’s seem to have a hard time absorbing small bumps and potholes.
