They've been getting some decent bumps from what I've seen, biggest benefit is the efficiency and when the power starts coming on.

Have you done it? You were the first one I thought that would want to do it if not. You don't seem to be scared of some work.

I got them awhile back when the hulkman started cranking these things out. Breaking the factory bolts loose though is a MFer. If you have help you are good, if not, get a 24mm wrench and a breaker bar.

Did you notice a lack of performance before you put them in? I really don't notice any with my truck but figure while I'm resealing the valve covers I may as well do it and see what it does for me.

Datalogs with HPTuner provide better fidelity on the benefits. It allows for a more complete disposal of the exhaust gases and better volumetric efficiency pulling in fresh air. I am S/C though so these along with equal length long tubes and tuned y-pipe are key to it all working together. It won’t hurt anything, but the most benefit you would get would be to purchase HP credits and let me smooth out your throttle mapping. When we get together and start hacking on Jimbo’s bumper you need to drive mine and you will see what I am talking about. I got the tuner so no need to spend money on that.

Yea I went to 4.88 in the Jeep and it went from completely gutless to being able to bark 35” tires in second. Decided on 4.88 cause of having 6 speed and the shop told me the 5.29 teeth were prone to breaking in my axle set. Glad I did cause I’m running 3k at 75mph in 6th so I’d hate to see 5.29

bet in the tacoma, it’s gonna make that truck a beast!

:anonymous:I just don't and can't pay to do the front again at this time. I've got an invoice getting made for what I want in the rear it's gonna be pretty badass.

Nah buddy has them I'd go from running 75 at almost 2700 to running 70. The vast majority of driving I do they would be a bigger advantage.

    Stock for now.. maybe
    Burlington NC

Looking for a good ALIGNMENT shop? Seems like there are a couple locally owned, NTB and a handful of others. I'd rather give my money to a locally owned place but... My truck is stock. Well, as in no lift. Recommendations appreciated.

Also looking for someone close by with techstream to help with programming a new key. I can make it worth your while!

Burlington Thomas Tire is who does mine and they are one of the better places around that I would trust.
