Got some more ETH this morning on the dip... god that dip was a killer. Im at 2.5 coins with a avg of $788 seeing it drop from 2k down to 1390 was horrible to watch. I kept saying, I should sell it all right now and then buy the dip, but with crypto you never know when the dip will keep going or shoot right back up.

It’s all good man. Everybody’s done it at some point. It’s only a loss if you sell lower than you bought.

We'll see. 46K resistance held and if it retakes 50K I think the move up will continue. If it can't retake 50K and breaks 46K resistance then it's going way back down. The speed at which it fell and partially recovered has me thinking it will continue the uptrend and this was just a "normal" BTC correction.

I agree, -30 to-38% corrections historically is normal. I bought on the BTC dip today.

Definitely a possibility. Looks like it recovered to 51k last night. This market definitely keeps us guessing. There’s definitely a lot more institutional investors and whales this time around so makes following previous btc fractals more difficult.

hmm...how else can I fit the word definitely in the post.

Having big money in the game changes the dynamic. Look at the drop from Sun 4am to Sun 7am. Volume goes up to 4x then up to 8x then up to 32x in two hours. The 6-7am candle is a 10K red candle. By 9am it has recovered to 49K. Everyone who had a stop loss set got taken out on the way down. Since BTC was running hot many people tightened up their stop losses which led to that accelerated decline. Money, and lots of it, bought the floor at 46K.

My theory is big money flushed it to pick up shares at a discount. Or could be wrong and maybe it was retail or small money that caused it but it was an odd crash for sure.

Guess ill just put that money into some stock on monday.

Current price im in at is $788 so im making money either way, but damn it.

I think we will will still see further downside this week as btc continues down to sub 40k.

I recently got back into crypto. I have everything in ETH currently and bought around $1,400 so I'm in this weird limbo of being just over or just under my buy-in price lol.

I also got my mining rig set up and running (though this is probably the wrong thread for this). I'm using NiceHash but it seems rather underwhelming for the cards that I'm running :notsure:

Honestly I'm still holding my ETH. Going for the long run now. I bought at $750 and I have been mining about 0.05 ETH a week. At this point I'm not looking at flipping, especially since the floor has held twice now.

I also still have some XLM but that's probably going to get moved next follow.

I was doing well with xlm but not anymore. It seems to have peaked and floundered worse than others

I also have $750 worth of ETH, but I bought in too late. Currently hovering at a $45 loss. I'm gonna HODL

What platform are you using to do your ETH mining? I'm using NiceHash now for BTC, but I want something that's a bit more reasonable to acquire and earn with.
