    If something happened to my truck tomorrow, I would likely buy a Prius solely for gas mileage; With insurance money from my truck, I could easily buy a decent used Prius in CASH and have money left over. I could also probably trade my truck in for the Prius I actually drove, effectively pay cash based on the value of my trade, and still have money left over, but trading my beloved truck in for a Prius...? o_O :rofl:

    My dad and I were talking the other night, and he said that it would take me to years to get back what I saved on gas with a Prius vs the truck. That said, I was still pleasantly surprised by the Prius when I drove it and would consider buying one as a second vehicle in the future! The gas mileage is incredible, it can seat five people (four comfortably), they have decent stereos, and the ‘04 Prius I rode in when I summoned an Uber in LA back in July 2016 had incredible A/C!

    For me, a Prius would be a second car that does all the stuff my truck can’t, with fuel economy being the most important issue; A Prius can also legally carry two more people than my truck!

    I’ve done my research and determined 2009-2014 models to be the most desirable; This is because rear disc brakes were standard on all models and most (not all, but most) had backup cameras. I have seen some 2004-2008 models with factory backup cameras, but all have rear drum brakes and most of the ones I’ve seen are beaten to shit.

    @shakerhood

    As stated last night, my rubber respirator was not only protecting me from COVID, but in that instance it also likely protected me from banging up my face; It also succeeded in muffling the resulting F-bomb (specifically, it was “Mother effer”) and keeping the whole neighborhood from hearing it!

    Yup!

    I now put on my mask purely out of habit whenever I leave the truck to drop of an order; 98% of my customers request no-contact orders, but on a couple of occasions they’ve gotten impatient and met me at the door anyway; One time I was not wearing my mask, and on a few occasions where the customer wants me to hand it to them they were not wearing a mask, so now I just wear a mask all the time! Last night, wearing it likely kept me out of the ER!

    The Steak N Shake on Street Road in Warminster, PA opened in January 2019 and suffered a fire on its first day of business that forced it to shut down until May 2019; When it finally did reopen, business was never particularly good and it was shut down before January 2020...

    In late 2020, Popeye's purchased the property and had it ready before the end of the year; The amount of customer traffic through this location is absolutely insane now! I have picked up DoorDash orders at the Popeye's a few times, and I'd say that roughly half the time they have their shit together, while the other half they are swamped and a total clusterfuck.

    Nissan is now giving technicians a new training course called “How to ruin a Pathfinder 101”...

    Seriously, I saw this parked in an apartment complex where I dropped off a DoorDash order yesterday evening! o_O

    And totally out of place on that vehicle...

    I’d say a decent 2001-2004 Pathfinder is worth like $3,500-$4,000...?

    I think it would look good with the NISMO off-road wheels from a current Frontier! I miss my Pathfinder... :(

    I like Pathfinder's too, but not with ridiculous wheels and tires on it.
