Hey friends. I am offering a custom OVtune courtesy of PapaRee in the Middle-Tennessee area. I call it the Tacoma Kruiser OVtune (T.K.O.) and it's a performance tune for 3rd gen Tacoma's running the 3.5L V6. Let me be the first person to tell you that this ECU flash tune turns your Taco into the ultimate sleeper. It does far more than simply tweak the throttle! It fixes shift points, improves engine noise (a lot quieter idling), your AT will not longer wonder what gear it needs to be in during acceleration, and if your Taco was like mine then around the 3500-4000rpm range during highway acceleration the truck didn't know what it wanted to do resulting in bogged down performance in the power band - with T.K.O. that's utterly gone! I don't have Dyno testing to back this up yet, but on the premium octane variant (regular 87 is available too) of T.K.O. there's a pretty obvious horse-power and torque gain even in the low end of the power band. I cannot imagine my TRD Off Road being stock tuned ever again.

In all seriousness, the first time I goose the throttle good after getting my truck up to temperature, it was legitimately difficult to tell that I was in my Tacoma and not a V8 sports car of some kind like a Mustang GT or whatever else. It's THAT bad ass. This tune actually unlocks a TON of locked off potential from our 3.5L V6 that Toyota's factory tuning just didn't allow for - let alone the well known, infamous shifting issues of the 3rd generation Tacoma's.

Another really cool feature of the T.K.O is that it turns the ECT Power switch into a sport mode, basically - which cranks up the throttle response a tad more and makes the transmission favor acceleration over conservative, daily driving. It's seriously fun as hell!

We can offer this tune for all 3rd gen Tacoma's*** in the Middle-TN area for $250. PM me if you're in the Middle-TN area and are interested and/or have questions. I'll happily get back with you and provide a breakdown of steps to get the T.K.O.

***We canNOT offer T.K.O. for 2021 models equipped with a MT at this time. Sorry.

Has this been compared on a 2020 after receiving the TSB-0092-20 update?

TSB-0092-20 for 2019-2020 year models (ECU ID: 04B33 up from 04B31) is the version on my truck. I updated my truck myself from 04B31. And it’s not even comparable to what T.K.O. offers. I would like to note that part of the flashing process is that I will flash your Taco to the latest and greatest TSB available for your year model from Toyota, and then provide the matching ECU ID variant of T.K.O.

Because we are matching the stock ECU ID this apparently makes the tune undetectable as well.

I don't know about you guys, but I have to put 300lb tube sand over the rear axel every winter. Without it, I break loose every time I try to start from a dead stop. This is all after adding a hundred pounds of rear bumper last winter.

First actual snow/icing of the year here in the Nashville area. Hoping we get some actual snow rather than this ice we have now!

Lets see if Nash gets what west TN got.
Snowed most of the night and morning. Average of about 5 inches in the yard today.

Most snow I’ve ever seen in Memphis. First time I’ve ever had to clear my driveway. Used a push broom to clear most of it.

Anyone in the Knox area want 3 brand new rotopax ? I’ve got a 4 gal gas and 2 2 gal white water ones. Heather decided we are doing Jerry cans on our bumpers instead.
