I used to work with a guy who had an entire second kitchen in his basement for all the stuff his wife refused to allow into hers. Among other things he made “road kill stew” in huge 2 gallon pots. Yes I ate it. No I did not ask what was in it.

This guy brought things to work all the time and said "...here, try this..."
At first I would ask what it was but after a few it was more like -- "hand it over buddy!". (Better go get a snack now...);)

    Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!!

We got another 3 to 4" of wet snow yesterday - finally stopped snowing about 3PM. I shoveled and plowed and by then the temps were in the upper 30s so it had started to melt...slush. Now it's 22F and icy. Luckily, the sun will be out and temps will be in the 40s so it will melt and dry out most of the driveway. Come on Spring!

Plumbers arrived right about 9 yesterday to repair the boiler. Needed a new control board, waste tank and pressure relief valve. Running like a charm again.

    Stay safe and warm!

Good morning all! I had hoped to ride the motorcycle to work this morning but yesterday getting into my truck slipped on some unseen ice on my driveway and twisted my left knee. This knee has already suffered multiple injuries dating back to my teen years and had one surgery so far. It's currently looking like a large cantaloupe and isn't happy with walking so I don't think it would do well supporting the weight of me o a motorcycle. Popping ibuprofen and hoping the swelling goes down without a doctor visit. This adult shit is highly overrated.
