Highly. I mean highly reliable? I plan on using it for racing.
Also it would be ideal if it could have tons of torque and lots of speed as well.
Reliability must come first and foremost.
2nd would be availability of fuel options for the engine, and third would be torque, followed by 5: speed and 6: 0-110mph.

Guys, I don’t mind placing it in the bed of my truck... I’m just wondering and please serious replies only. Also my truck has a toolbox (low profile) and that is it. And stock bed length.

Also if it’s a marine engine that would be a huge, I mean huge bonus.

You might read the rule book for the race you intend to run.

I wanted to run BITD but they didnt allow aftermarket boost in the class I want to run, unless its a Ford.

What are some amazing brands for supercharged / turbo multi fuel engines with tons of torque and lots of HP?

Brother, if you have to ask these questions you probably can't build this yourself. No offense intended, but your questions are those of an enthusiast, not a builder. If you are serious about racing anything you need to look at the rulebook for for whatever sanctioning body you intend to run in and what class you want to compete in. For instance, if you wanted to run in SCORE, Class 7, you are limited to six cylinders, 4.5 liters naturally aspirated and 3.5 liters with forced induction. Classes have limitations to level the playing field in terms of competition and expense. There are also dozens of rules regarding construction, materials, and safety you will have to comply with to pass tech. If you have never built a racecar, or worked in a team effort, you are in for a ride and an education. If you just want to go fast in the desert or some other venue open to anyone, that's a different matter.

I do plan on just racing outside of sanctioning bodies such as the desert, salt plains, dunes, beach sand, and on private roads. As well as dirt roads where it will see it the most.
I plan on upgrading my lift to the maximum Alabama allows, so I need more torque, in fact lots of torque.

I think you are suffering from dreams of disillusion.

Your parameters are illogical, not complimentary to each other. At all.

And apparently you want to stay street legal, as you mention legal Alabama lift heights. Which adds another level of complexity.

So, IMHO you are asking the wrong questions. Figure out what you actually want to do with the truck 1st.

A good build can either be above average at multiple things or excellent at one or two. Excellent at all isn't gonna happen. It's called engineering compromise.

    Answer these questions.

    1) what is your budget? (then double it)

    2) what is your fabrication skill level? Wiring, welding, structural design, etc.

    3) what is your shop space and tool availability?

    4) can you go for months w/o the vehicle while it's being built?

    Ready to begin?

    Keep us updated with pictures.

    I
All of that applies to me with those questions :) Wiring I'm good, welding I'm learning.

I also plan on using a sheet of very strong steel and a flip down dual wheel bench for the engine to sit on if it needs servicing - obviously pulled out with something serious and then put back in to the bed.

It's funny but it's the old age argument of can a school bus sized engine beat a Lamborghini.
Though yeah It's just for offroading.
