May I suggest a Gazelle pop up tent (4 person). We got one with some cots and man for comfort camping it's a game changer being able to stand get dressed and have a more comfortable bed and place to put things.

Dats pretty cool there are 2 IG couples I follow that are building similar rigs. These uber expensive 4wd campers are really becoming the craze and the DIY ones are pretty damn cool.

I can attest to that, although it feels a lot worse. With those wider axles that gulley won't have any crazy sideways mess you'll be straddling the ditch

On one of the episodes, peanutoverland from Insta came by and helped. I need to see if they have a build. They were in a LMTV 1078 or 9. They never showed the whole truck, I just know it was a LMTV :D
He started with a 30K budget. The last episode I watched showed exactly how much he had in it, and what he would have put in it had he had to pay his buddies and himself for the work, plus the money and stuff given from his sponsors. Kinda made the EarthRoamer prices seem a bit more reasonable.

It's kinda like building anything once you factor in the labor aspect it brings things into perspective. Especially if you just don't go uber cheap and actually use quality products.

Look up the man called yeti and wildyolo on IG they are building some old army vehicle into one. Therestlessredhead on IG as well her and her husband flip houses and are building a roamer similar to the video.

ANOTHER BIG WARM-UP: Temperatures will rise quickly across Alabama today, with most communities reaching the low 70s this afternoon with a strong February sun. The average high for Birmingham on February 24 is 61. Clouds will increase late tonight and a few isolated showers or sprinkles are possible tomorrow ahead of a cold front, but most of the day will be dry with a high between 67 and 70 degrees.

Rain becomes likely statewide late tomorrow night and Friday; rain amounts of around one inch are likely, with heavier totals over the northern third of the state. A few rumbles of thunder are possible, but severe storms are not expected. Friday will be cooler over the northern third of the state with a high in the 50s.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: The front will drift northward, and will be near the Tennessee border Saturday. The weekend will be very mild for Alabama with highs in the 70s, and with a moist airmass in place we will need to mention a chance of showers both days. But, for most of the state, the weekend won’t be a “wash out” with even potential for a few intervals of sunshine. The most widespread rain will be over the Tennessee Valley and points north.

NEXT WEEK: The position of the surface front will determine the chance of rain on a daily basis, and global models are not in good agreement. Showers remain likely Monday, but there is a chance drier air could creep into North Alabama Tuesday and Wednesday with cooler temperatures. But again, the forecast for the week is a low confidence one… See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

Rain totals over the next seven days will vary a good bit across Alabama with a tight gradient; Muscle Shoals could see over 4 inches of rain, while Dothan will be mostly dry.

ON THIS DATE IN 1961: An F2 tornado moved through Russell County in East Alabama… although it moved mostly through rural areas, the tornado left several homes obliterated while others were heavily damaged and many trees were blown down or broken off. Four people were injured.

ON THIS DATE IN 1969: The famous “100-Hour Storm” began in Boston, MA. Snow fell much of the time between early on the 25th through noon on the 28th. The 26.3 inches at Logan Airport is the 2nd greatest snowstorm in Boston’s history. 77 inches fell at Pinkham Notch Base Station in New Hampshire, bringing their February total to 130 inches. Their snow cover on the 27th was 164 inches. Mt. Washington, NH, received 172.8 inches of snow in the month.

Got everything cut off and cleaned up, now a little rubbing with sandpaper and then start adding everything back.
