Wut? Did you not look at the doors or rear console? Assuming a double cab, my MT has 12 cup holders. 2 up front, 2 rear and 2 each door.

The Canadian trucks with MT including the Pro don't have the TPMS. US MT trucks might be different. And the MT Pro trucks in Canada list for about 4K less than the automatics

In our Lexus RX, there are a total of 5 cupholders for the two front seats (two are bottle holders in the doors), and yet sometimes I still need another cup holder. :annoyed:

In my Lexus IS, I have one unusable cup holder in the centre console and a bottle holder in each door, never seem to have a problem.

In my 86 Corolla I have one (again unusable) cup holder in the console, and no armrest, but it's fine. Need both hands for the wheel, haha.

Growing up in the days of no cup holders makes me sentimental. I never saw the need. But, I can't tell you how many of the ones that clipped into the window slot or sat on the transmission tunnel that my folks had. Of course, always failing in use. The low point was them checking if it was 'clear' to toss out the garbage.

I like the toolless idea for the big water bottle that I bring along for longer drives, but the console works just fine.

I would have considered it if they built an ACLB MT Pro.

In the USA, all vehicles have TPMS.

In Canada for the Tacoma, it is only available in some packages on the AT trucks (TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, Limited, Nightshade).

I think he's referencing the two that are in front of where the charging pad is.
On the other hand, the MT has two regular cup holders in front of the arm rest with that rectangular "wallet/phone" holder, whereas the AT has one regular cup holder and a square holder (?).

Don’t think saw it posted in this thread, but the clutch cancel switch is the manual transmission crawl control. There is a video floating around that shows it being used. No it’s not as fancy as the automatic transmission crawl control, but there are less electronic things to mess up as well.

Yep. I looked at my 2020 Sport Premium 6MT and a 2020 Pro 6MT and was absolutely shocked. $15k CAD ($12k USD) more for the Pro and being an MT the Pro did not have remote start, push button, proximity or JBL audio either as not available in MT (In Canada at least). I was not paying $15k more for Fox shocks, locking diff, Grille, Embroidered headrests and blacked out lights. Imagine the rig I could build if I put $15k into my Sport!

    Whaa???

Mine came exactly as I would have ordered it... I would not change a thing! (As far as factory-available options)

ECT Button - We have it. It is always on. You cannot turn it off. AND it provides infinitely variable shift points according to operating needs... Not` just another set of also FIXED shifting points.

I do not want a push button start... (Seems that the actual point was altogether miessed here...)
On an off road vehicle, you want to be able to control the starter. You cannot do this with a button. Toyota even gives you a hefty starter to get yourself out of trouble - old school-like. It is brilliant. Toyota gave you a Hybrid offroader! (I know... most video games do not have this feature ;)). What is attractive about the button?? I've had them! They are a pain in the arse in modern cars! (They are still cool in Mini coopers from the 60's).

I am fine without the auto unlock. I have the key with the remote. I have a bed where I can put stuff whe I approach the taco with my hands full. - (I also do not frequent costco or walmart). :argue:

I do not want the JBL as I plan to do speaker upgrades (I need to sort this one out...) and I also do not want my storage reduced. Many complain about the sound anyway. That is just me... I do not see a practical explanation for this exclusion, though.

Cupholders??? W.G.A.S! :angrygirl::annoyed: I remember reading a while ago about the impact of cupholders on owner's satisfaction on surveys. Some of the world's best vehicles apparently were rated low in US surveys DUE TO CUPHOLDERS... (or lack of apparent sufficiency thereof...). no wonder most people drive automatics - they are to busy stuffing their face and looking at their phone! What's next... a tiny urinal accessory?

Crawl control - you mean the crappy low speed Cruise control? Pffft! - There is a thread about that one. A waste of space for that knob. Most are embarrased to use it. I sounds like the taco is made of tin cans and about to fall apart... Appropriately, it perfectly calls loud attention to all within earshot and beyond, about the driver's lack of driving ability. :D
(I will not even mention that it does not work for most anyway... did I?) :duel:
I've not used the normal cruise control in years of having it in my vehicles...

Rant over - I hope you've enjoyed it. (Did I miss anything?)
    :humble:

    :kona:
