Anybody know of a trail camera that comes with an app that you can log in from your phone?


I’ve also thought of doing the ring cameras but there’s really only one part of my yard I want to watch

 

Are you looking for something weather proof? We've got a camera that has an app but it would have to be indoors. You can control the movement through the app though and all it needs is a wifi connection.

 

Yeah I need something weatherproof. I’ve came home to find my gate open. So I put pad locks on the inside of the fence. So I thought that was weird. Well since then the gates been what looks like pushed on. This is what I just found when I got here. It won’t be much longer til all the screws are out of the hardware. I thought it may be an animal crawling under it and pushing it out. But I can’t find any tracks or feet prints.

 

Could it possibly be the wind? I know it's been super windy here the last few days.

It’s been windy here. But I’m doubtful that’s what is causing this. This has been going on for probably a month now.

@Sammie or just be patient, save money, and get a standard cam you check in evenings. If it is a kid pushing on the fence they could steal it unless you get a lock box and chain it anyways.

I would also put a Beware of Dog sign somewhere in a different area on that fence

 

Ive looked at several of these. They say WiFi and have an app. But it’s not one you can log in from say work. Maybe while you’re inside the house.

 

Well that's fucked up, hopefully you find out it's nothing. Can't recommend any game cameras for outdoors that would have those features. If you could do something to keep a regular camera out of the elements I'd try that. Some sort of plexiglass style box or maybe a faux planter so it's hidden.

Oooh good idea! @Sammie those might work for you since they have an outdoor version.

 

We use SPARTAN cams to view remotely. I'd just get a cheap one though and look in evenings.
