Definitely bring an extra set of brake pads for front and rear on this big of a riding trip.

Bring a spare derailleur hanger too.

I will have you covered on tools and stuff though, so don’t worry about any of that.

I'm referring to just pads, If you destroy your calipers go on pinkbike and buy some basically new takeoffs.

Friend of mine in Charlotte with a cherry 4 runner sent me this thread. Haven't logged in since I went back to work in August. Going to go home and look at the calendar to give serious consideration!!

Biking/camping trip. Windrock seems to be on the agenda if you’d rather wheel/braap

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I will hit the big gap if you will! Brap

@jjones.yota just my 2 cents but I think you would be fine at the Windrock DH especially if you are wanting to progress, You get to focus on the descending aspect without having to climb. It is intimidating at first but its definitely fun and you can work your way up to the harder features if you want to do them, In comparison to the XC stuff, and I might not remember correctly, but the DH sections of the XC trails were super fun and not too much different than some of the stuff we rode in the bike park other than length (@GrundleJuice) does this sound accurate ?

@Bannerman the way this winter/spring is going, the pontoon might be the only thing allowed on trails come May.
