It does, holds up fine. The only reason the last one fell off was because the shop that did my LCA bushings knocked it off when they pulled them.

The up/down motion of the bump stop hitting the strike plate is fine with JBweld, but if you knock it from the side it'll come off pretty easy. It lasted on there almost 2 years before the shop knocked it off.

When I do the CV axle on that side I have to remove the bump because it gets in the way of taking out the axle, and a good smack with the hammer on the side of the base plate on the bump stop will break the JB weld

I should just drill a hole through the bottom of the LCA so I can attach a nut to the bolt that is supposed to hold the bump. Although IDK if that will compromise the integrity of the arm

Try to find the bumpstops from an 01 limited 4 runner

I know the ones on mine are soft rubber... Not rock hard like the ones on my 95 taco or 98 runner

Hitting them isn't jarring unlike the others

Figure I'll replace the ball joints on my SPCs while doing the bushings, one of the boots is torn anyway and they're almost 5 years old now.

Looks like Autozone has the best price on the pair, $121.00....Metaltech wants $150 "on sale" from $190, wtf

I've given up on Rock Auto since most of the shit I've added to my cart on there ends up not being able to ship to CA due to the stupid cancer warning proposition that went into effect a few years ago.

It's too stark of a difference to be that if you ask me, but you could be right

I could put a prybar on them and take a photo to show what I mean

Nope, the SPCs camber/caster adjustability is the only reason I can drive my truck straight right now.

Kind of hoping new bushings solves the problem but I doubt it
