Same here. I really wish we could customize the appearance of the gauges

 

I’m just surprised to see it erase itself.

 

The cold can do funky things. Expansion, contraction. Density. Heat time after start-up. Etc

I learned that in my tune, my air temp enrichment table, when around 25° F and lower, is pulling fuel. I was at first thinking something was wrong with the truck. Warmed up to 30° F+ and AFR's back to normal.

 

@JuanitoBunito is your secondary air pump still working as intended? It runs on start-up to help heat up the cats for more efficiency, so if it's not working (or in race / off-road mode), maybe that is causing the occasional error.

 

Yup still working as usual......both times I threw the code was on my way home from shift.....not right away either. Like 6-8 miles after leaving the firehouse. Also, I warm up my truck for 10-15 before I even leave

 

I hosed off the right cat after spilling coolant on it (I relocated my intercooler reservoir). Temp dropped to -10 (from 40s) overnight and threw same code, this was a few years ago. Never had another cat code again.

 

That’s good to hear.....I’m thinking it was just the frigid cold air we had. I’m switching to long tubes anyways but it was still frustrating

 

Could be a bolt-in upgrade for the coolant pump.

Was it after you washed your truck?

 

When the computer see that the code has not set for "X" amount of drive cycles it will turn the light off, but the code will still be stored. It should rease the code after "XX' drive cycles without detecting the fault.

 

I need to compare to my “upgraded” Bosch

 

1 time I think. But if I remember correctly both times I pulled my truck into the bay for the night to get it out of the cold for the night. Then on the way home 3/4 of the way home on a 9-10 mile drive it popped on both times. Both times it was crazy cold. Today will driving to work in 40 degree weather, I noticed the 2 lights weren’t on anymore. Check engine/trac off

I think the thread's fearless leader remains in Mod-imposed exile. Many decided to join him in "another location" for the duration.

 

He's done his jail sentence day in a day or two. There's been a small group on dischord and it's mostly just three or four people chatting.
