dont think its gas now. drained the tank put new 91 non-e in and some seafoam, rode it for 130 miles yesterday and still acting that way. trying plugs next and then resorting to checking tps sensor after

Have you checked the airbox and air filter yet? Seen WAY too many times small animals have made their way in and started building a nest. Chokes off air supply pretty quick. Idle can be fine due to low demand for air but once you start putting load on it......Start with the basics. You got this!

Nah not on the bumps. Specifically at idle now. When it first happened on the highway thats what made me think bad gas. Ran it for 70 miles last night on the highway loop around kc and no issues after new gas and seafoam (above 4k rpm). Got it up pretty high too hoping to clear it out but no luck so far.
Yup checked the filter and even made sure the tank was venting properly.

Almost had it idle this morning after sitting last night (it held at 2k rpm for a sec on its own before dying). Picking up new plugs after work tonight to throw in

Gotcha.... could be electrical related - check the wiring harness and all connections for damage and corrosion. Also test the battery, stator, and rectifier/regulator. I remember the charging system on my GSXR causing some weird issues.

Love the bmw TFT, integrated everything is amazing. Friend has the new s1000rr with the same set up; makes us analog and digital guys look prehistoric. That an 850 or 1250?

Wanted to ride so bad today/tomorrow but bike still coming together, missing like 2 fairings which support the front headlight otherewise could wing it. Think about 5 coworkers asked if i rode in due to weather..hurt more each time lol.

I got out today for a scoot. I took the CBR600F4i but spent a good hour doing a preflight.
Everything checked out so off we went. It was great!

Ive glanced over everything i can see easily at least. If plugs dont fix it and tps checks out ill go there.

Had a nice February day here. Didn’t plan on going that far, but I had a couple gun stores that I was checking ammo availability and then kept on going.

I did notice copious amounts of grit n the roads today. Hopefully this rain this weekend washes it all away.

He could probably ask 3500 in that condition if it’s all there and not locked up. The parts to get it back running might get expensive. Those are on the rise right now since the 916s are getting so expensive. Might have to settle for less though...
