    Exactly.

Having my own pile of stock/remnants makes it super easy to whip up something on the fly when needed.

I've never seen this thread, but its never too late.. I used to be a commercial food production TIG welder, 42 YEARS AGO:rofl: since I couldn't find the perfect bumper I bought a C4 hybrid, then I bought this to fine tune it to my requirements . (as well as the many other uses I needed it for.

This is interesting. I never thought it was a big b problem. Seriously, it is very difficult to get 3 hours of solid welding in one shift. I only BB experience this once in our twice a year. Dry eyes and pretty serious headache for six hours is the only issue. I never heard about the blue eye issue. Yes, I have blue eyes.

    Lol.
My trailer I just built for myself was paid by remnants from previous projects.PXL_20210107_171938144.jpg PXL_20210107_171956557.jpg

Thanks! I was kind of worried. I didn't know if I would have issues on xway. Hardly any canvas flapping was noticed. It trailered just fine bumping 80 mph.

This little stool was the first thing I ever welded out of scrap a friend gave me. Ended up being perfect for my tig pedal lol

I at first thought this was a old welders story when I heard it way back when.

I asked last time when I went for a eye check up I got a big technical lecture with lots of big words that blue eyes are effected more by the welding arc maybe even the sun.

Among several friends that work in the welding industry all our lives a few of us have never had Arc flash that we can recall we all have Brown eyes .

As most often you get zapped by the other person or persons as you take off your safety glasses to scratch a itch or nod your head to hard and everything goes flying .

On this episode of "Pimp my Welding Cart", I added an 120V outlet box and made two 18" clamps from the HF $4.00 version. This thing is about to get where I want it to be for the Summer projects ahead.

Definitely need to add one of these to my table once I mount the machines under it.

Did a little bit of practice on 1/4" before I start on my bumper, preheated first. Looks pretty good I think, I should probably cut it open though.

Maybe up the gas a little?

Here's my last big welding project: stand up desk. learned a very valuable lesson: make it shorter and use adjustable feet to fine tune height. it's about 1" taller than i'd prefer after a bunch of use, but now it's powder coated and i can't be bothered to take it apart and fix it :p
