    IMHO .... That's just a fancy car cover.

    If you want a garage. Look at building a Pole Barn type. Then finish it off with a poured concrete floor.

    It won't blow away in a strong wind, more weather resistant, more secure.......Many advantages.

    We use the Costco 10x20 carport for 4 seasons now. It's been through hell and back and except for a little dirt, we've never had a problem. I believe Costco starts stocking them around spring and they are still under $300. Best thing about it is, if anything happens, Costco is great about warranty.     If you live in the snow belt don't even consider these. I tried to take the snow off but got a big dump one night and that was the end of it. It collapsed.

    What's your application? You said trips. So are you looking for a tent for your truck while camping? Or is this to store your truck while you're away?

    To store the truck with materials in the back, and have a temp worksite to do cuts, etc. while on extended work trips away from the shop.
