Has anyone mounted the Slee bracket in an SR5 or Sport that has the ABS plumbing behind the fender on the passenger side?

I haven’t read all of this post but there’s also a kit for mounting an air compressor into the storage cubby in the bed. I’ve been pretty interested in that.

If you have the storage on the left side of the bed you could use this which is $125 without the compressor.

    https://expeditionessentials.com/co...edside-compressor-mount?variant=1708368658441

If not, then you could get this for the right side of the bed behind the power outlet for $25.

A really AWESOME set up, I have a 1982 Toyota pickup wanting to put air compressor in engine bay, but ARB is out of my price range. It doesn't have to look pretty at all either.

Anyone know of any cheaper air compressors, or ?think? a harbor freight one would work? any one have an old Toyota with this set up, mounting locations??

Im running a arb single compressor on a slee mount. The mount is made for a 2nd gen but works perfect for my 3rd gen. I originally had the compressor mounted in front of the passenger firewall under the hood. I went dual batteries so i had to move the compressor to make room for the 2nd battery.

Im going to extend the air chuck and either mount it on the fronr bumper or behind the grill.

That fallout logo is an awesome (yet pointless) idea. Maybe I need a biohazard sticker on mine...

I'd love to do this one, under the passenger seat, but it's limited to the dual canister compressor for some reason...plus pricey. But *very* clean install. Requires both front and rear seat lift blocks so the passenger seat will be raised about 1 1/2 inches, but the plugs and things will be sticking out the side for easy access plus you have molle panels in the front and rear for tools/flashlights/etc.

Thats not limited to the dual canister compressor. Im guessing you looked at this line in there page, I think this is saying that the twin only fits on the passenger side and not the drivers side, but any of the compressors fit. Their pictures show the single ARB on the passenger side. So drivers side fits all compressors but the twin, passenger side fits all compressors including the twin. The line could be written better @EasyDoesIt maybe you can clarify?

    • Installs under the front of the passenger seat or driver seat but will only fit a Twin ARB under the passenger seat

    You nailed it.

The twin ARB will fit under the passenger Seat but not the driver seat. Any ViAir or the Single ARB will fit under either seat.

Total lift for the ViAir or Single ARB is the 1.25" front Seat Jackers and .75" rear Seat Jackers.

For the twin ARB you will need the 1.25" front and rear Seat Jackers.

    Hope that helps.

Sorry, should have been more specific. On *MY* truck I'm limited to passenger side only, because I shoved a 1000 watt amp under the driver seat. lol

You can still put the single under the passenger seat, your options for your truck are single, double, vair, or any of the other compressors. The driver and passenger seat mounts will fit any of the compressors, but the passenger side fits the dual(along with all the other compressors) but the drivers side does NOT fit the dual (but fits all the other compressors)

Where did you get the air chuck "plug"? That's a pretty good idea, given the mud and grime that can get in there.
