    Nice!
For better long term results, add some soap to correct the pH from salt, etc. Soap should be basic/caustic with a pH above 7 to reduce the acidity (pH less than 7) that is the cause of the rust, but don't go nuts, because a pH too high will strip paint and coatings.

Salt is neutral, you don't need to correct the ph, just get rid of it.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! In the never ending saga of our boiler, I noticed water from underneath - pulled the cover and the drain valve is now leaking. Called last night - supposed to be here this AM to repair.

Heading off for our second vaccine shots this afternoon.

    Be safe out there!!

Good morning PA folks. 3 more weeks of fun in the sun in Florida and we'll be heading home for tax time. I hope the snow :fingerscrossed: is gone by then.
Have a great day and be safe.

Not entirely accurate; salt, by itself, on in a solution of pH neutral water, is near neutral pH.
However, in nature, most hydrocarbons, and plant material (anything sticky when wet) is acidic, so the salt water on your car is most likely acidic.
Add soap, and the salt solution starts heading back towards neutral and basic (slippery when wet).
I know this from making roofing nail coils in a former job.

When I had my Jeep I used a sprinkler. Not as good as being hooked up to a pressure washer but it did a pretty good job cleaning the mud out from underneath.

Decided to wash the truck at work.... shhhhh drove up behind recon. Got on me hands and knees with the pressure washer and sprayed all I could..... water looked green!! Then rinsed off the paint and drove through the car wash :-/ haven’t looked at it since it air dried but it’s all I had time for was a quickie :D

I dealt with this for a few years. I've replaced everything but the heat exchanger at this point. Earlier this year I have a valve go bad, replaced both and that's all for this year, only $800 with the two service/diagnostic emergency calls. I should've bought a new one that people work on years ago. I'm limited to one provider that services them, and they are over an hour away. I hope your venture works out for you. When they work, they're the best heat.

Afternoon PA! New member and finally got a Taco. 2021 Off road. I'm near Lancaster, Reading, Lebanon area. Any forestry roads close by to just venture on to start out? Nothing extreme yet, just want to drive around and see what it's about.
