Absolutely. My Weathertechs had some significant gaps where they touched the plastic trim pieces and these new mats fit tight in those areas.

A serious response would be that it's some weird grey area. While they're not DOT approved, I haven't ever heard of anyone having issues with the law because of them. The only potential issue that may arise will be when it's time for my annual safety inspection, but I have a friend with a set of rollers I can borrow if I fail. Just some boring oem wheels with some 265s on them.

I was generally curious lol. But that sucks yall have to do inspections. Good ole Bama we just have to keep our trucks below 10 inches of lift and have some form of muffler and we good lol.

Luckily I recently became friends with my neighbor who is a master tech at the toyota dealership around the corner and was like "Yeah man, I can hook you up with an inspection." So that's nice.

I really do love these things. Can’t wait to finally wheel with them in a couple of weeks

I've tackled almost all needed maintenance for this year aside from the tranny flush... so intimidated. Does anyone know if Toyota recommends the full flush or just a drain and fill?

I just did a drain and fill on my truck not too long ago. Pretty easy aside from laying down and pumping oil in as the truck is running... But not to difficult. I've had no issues so far since doing it.

I have been running a set for a couple years. Love them. They do clean up nice and are not slippery like the plastic ones. They look like carpeted floor mats but act like the plastic laser fit inserts. I would take a picture of mine currently on my truck but I am too embarrassed by how horrible they look since it has been so long since I cleaned them. I wash them off when I do clean them then use a battery operated drill with one of those brush attachments to quickly get almost all of the ground in sand out. Works slick!
