Just reply to your order confirmation email saying that you would like the 04B33 Tune Pack. It keeps your account info / ticket all nice and together. You'll get a reply to that with a download link.

Back up your REG file, Master Key, and Tune Pack. Only work on copies of the Tune Pack files if you want to edit.

We are on the older method. So, it could be a couple days before you see them in vF.

I think the automagic method is coming with vF Version 1.3.0?

@OVTune Yeah when I saw that response I knew I screwed up and should have checked here first.

Next question I ordered the flash kit and tune pack. Since I do longer have the stock ecu file it’s his BS do I need to track him down and flash back to stock before I can use my kit to flash back to an actual OV tune? Or can I just hook up the kit download all the new files and flash to the correct thing.

No. Just flash a new tune and reset learned values. Stock files come with VFTune.

Hey yall! Ive been not able to pay attention for sometime and wanted to see if anyone could help me out. My vftuner is 1.2.6.0 and it looks like 1.2.9.6 version is out. I had already unlocked 04b04 since that what I have but when I opened vftuner today, I got an additional 5 credits which is confusing me. what are these credits for?

also, is there a changelog somewhere showing whats changes in the most recent versions of vftuner?

    yalls help is mad appreciated!

Go ahead and get the latest version for all the updated tables available. Your credits will transfer over. The new credits you received are due to the new licensing system and should be used to unlock your VIN. The new model is a per-vin licensing model.

Hi all. Quick question about credits. I ordered on Feb 23 and just received my master key this morning so I downloaded and installed vftuner. I don't actually have my cable yet, but I just want to be ready for it. When I launched vftuner and checked my license info I see I have 5 credits. That is what I would have expected for the old system, but shouldn't the new per-VIN system come with at least 8? 4 to unlock ECU and 4 to unlock my own VIN? I'm basing my info primarily off this:

I believe that you should have nine? Four for the ECU and VIN and one always left over for the vF License.

Unless you opened one of the Tune files. That would use up four.
