You'd still want to fix the rust first, obviously.

I've been there... My girlfriend got real mad at me for getting stuck
Dude sounds like a complete dolt. Arrogant sales people drive me insane. I'd walk away in a heartbeat and find someone else.

Keep the planks on the snow!

I just rewaxed my old Kneissl's last night, because we're hitting Saddleback this Saturday. I haven't skied that hill since I was in high school!

Nice! How old are your skis? I just waxed my Volkl's. I bought them a long time ago but they are hardly used.

I would do it at home. That way if you find you are lacking something you can grab it and test it to see how it could fit into your set up immediately. One idea might not work and you might need to try a second idea. Get it dialed in at home then take it out on the trail to test it out.

She bought the CX-5, but she is brutal with sales people, arguing over $100. I thought they were very reasonable and told her I do not agree to car shop with her in the future .

I don’t remember who was the big fan of CMPS on the rocks but, whoever it was, you should really try the Ron Centenario 12 yr spiced rum I listed. Very similar taste but I think it’s smoother to drink on ice. Captain is good though, it’s a keeper.

Edit, let the ice get at it for a while longer, it’s getting better!

Well....FB is at least good for one thing. Just sold this on the marketplace. There were a lot of people asking me if it was still available without any response but it went to a business startup. A guy in Chicopee was starting a physical fitness training center and needed something for product to sell. Sold in 2 days. A hell of a lot faster than dealing with Craigslist.....I was thinking about selling it on here but I didn't think that TW express would apply lol.

I mean I have some random stuff but why did you possess this?

I’m trying to buy a truck fold tonneau on Facebook right now. I don’t want a soft one and a hard top showed up for the right price so I hope I can snag it.

It is actually a funny story. My father used to work for a company that did lab testing for all of the Pepsi products from the syrup to the fountains that the sodas come out of. They had to test 40 of these brand new to make sure they stayed at a consistent temp for 48 hours. Afterwards, they couldn't resell them so they went to a warehouse to be destroyed. Then each employee (there were only 23 employees that worked for the company) had to get on a list to have them "fall off the back of a truck and into their house." When it came to my dad's turn, he said that he had no room for it and gave it to me. They go for $2500 brand new. I used it for 4 years and then just stopped using it. Sold it for $500.

Very. My boots are just as old but 30 years ago they were pinnacle of ski tech

I bought the skis secondhand for $100 my Freshman year of high school ('99) and they were already old then (but still minty fresh; when I got them at the Ski Club sale they still had the factory tape on them!). They definitely predate the shaped ski craze; I think they've got like 60m of sidecut; most of your newer stuff is down around 20m
Since then though I bet they've had 800+ ski days (real ones; I'm not a lodge rat). Apparently you're supposed to replace them every 150 or so, but they still work great and I can't stand curved skis. The topcoat is all beat to hell but the bindings still work fine and the edges are still sharp, and they still carve. So until something breaks or stops working I'll keep skiing them. :notsure:
