I'm probably not getting new tires until August or September, but I'll definitely have Pete realign the truck after he installed the lift.

I've allowed my truck to get low enough that the warning light came on just one time; I rarely ever let it get below a quarter of a tank anymore, and I track the distance I've travelled using the trip odometer. The farthest I've ever gone before filling up that I can remember was about 240 miles...? On this occasion, the fuel gauge was just below a quarter of a tank, but I have a feeling my calculations are not entirely accurate because I burn some gas while sitting in traffic or just idling with the A/C on...

Supposedly connects to the gas tank and improves mileage substantially...

    Working for the Hindenburg effect.

What are you using to crack the H2 from?
What are you using to initiate the cracking method? Electricity? Chemical.
What are you doing with waste?
    What is the supply?
    What additional equipment is required?
What controls are needed on the process?

How will you meter it into the engine?
How to adjust the engine tune?
How to create the fuel/air ratio mapping?

Frankly, I think you were being fed a load.

    Good luck.

I doubt anything like that would make any increases.

Like I said, it was just traffic light chitchat...

My mechanic is helping me install a lift kit in less a than a week (since he has a hydraulic lift and I don’t), and I’ll have him check the MAF to see if that’s dirty or clogged in anyway because I think it has something to do with my lousy mileage.

I remember this snake oil bull from a decade ago.

If the car companies could make more efficient motors they would.

Yeah back then they were calling it 'browns gas' or 'HHO'.

Essentially you're using electrical power to do 2H2O -> 2H2 + O2 , then feed the resulting mix into the engine. They claim that this saves fuel, enough to negate the extra you've burnt to run the alternator to run the reaction. I've never tested it.

    Consider.

Typically, H2 is cracked from Natural Gas. I don't know the process, but I assume its chemical or molecular sieve. H2 can also be cracked from water.

The Nat Gas process would require an onboard storage for the Nat Gas, plus the equipment to crack the H2. I'm not 100% what gas remains, but I suspect it is flammable. In this situation, it would be simpler to feed the Nat Gas into the engine and avoid the cracking process.

The water process requires electricity. To create enough H2 to feed an engine would require a significant amount of current. The waste will be a mix of O2 and water. O2 is highly flammable and is capable of oxidizing very quickly.

Either process is loaded with explosive problems and issues.

They don’t work, they can’t work, they won’t save you any money and they won’t save you fuel . They are BS!
They and every other device advertised to save fuel and improve mpg are bull shit. Think about it, if these things really worked new car manufacturers would be all over it. Every new car would have such a devise. It would certainly help new cars meet EPA fuel standards.

The Browns gas thing has been around for a long time. Uses electricity to separate a water molecule into into Oxygen and Hydrogen. Yes it works,,,, BUT the energy used to make the Browns gas exceeds the output of energy Produced!!
