So I registered the taco in Dec 2019, and i registered the nissan in march 2020.

I got a license plate renewal registration notice for the nissan.

    Missouri is weird.

I can't wait till we stop with the dumb front plates.

That was supposed to be on the ballot this year, no?

I think I saw it, maybe.

It still blows my mind that if you have a truck of a certain size in this state, its *assumed* that most of the time you'll be towing a trailer, so you don't need a rear plate. wtf.

Don't get me started. When I drove my Subaru, I'd get pulled over for even being close to expiring. There are certain people I know that haven't licensed a truck in a decade.

That's funny you mention that. I remember driving around Sedalia, MO once and seeing large 3/4 ton trucks with no license plates. They would just have like a John Deere plate or something fancy to fill in the spot. I asked my buddy and he said something along the lines of them being farmers and they don't need the plates.

Im on the KS side, so I don't know the details but I did find that odd.

When I bought the truck, I made a plate holder so that I didn't have to drill the bumper. I, being a normal supergenius, used self tapping sheet metal screws to hold the plate on. Last summer, I was making a 100 point turn on a really sketchy tight trail near Breckenridge. I bumped the plate on a tree or log, I couldn't tell what, and this is the result:facepalm:. I haven't fixed it lol

Yeah, it's dumb as heck and my own father is guilty of this up until the last few months. I have an LEO acquaintance that prefers the front plate because of the trailer towing issue and rear plates. BUT he's in an area that is pretty rural and also has a major highway running through the jurisdiction, so there is some logic there. They also have a big problem with UTVs just mobbing through town or the side streets sometimes.

DP is provocative enough, get followed quite often. Gotta have the front plate so keep it useful....

I still want one of these and have suggested it to my roommate as well as Sam.

Hopefully I won't need it by the time I get a bumper and winch.

I guess I'll have to buy a bumper and a winch then. Problem solved.

    So. Many. Stickers.
    Boo this man.

Missouri plates, if your car is an odd year manufacturer such as a 2019 and you register it in 2021, you'll get to your tags. If you registered in 2020, you'll get one your tags have to re-register in 2021 which you will then get to your tags.

    Yay.

as for truck plates, my taco hasn't had a front plate in nearly two years. Don't drive like a twat, you won't get caught

Vision. Discount Tire sells them and they price matched at like $113 per wheel, so I have at least that much confidence in them.

Your spokes taper in toward the rim and are fatter at the middle. I don't like that. It's my A-worded brain that doesn't like it really. The Vision spokes are straight and the same thickness at the center. Very autistically pleasing. :goingcrazy:
