It always happens that way. Last weld of the day, you’ll always run out of something.

Thanks, I’m still playing with settings, first couple of welds weren’t nearly as good just because of settings. I’ll turn wire speed down some more.

Can’t remember where I read it but someone recommended doing the transmission swap first and then doing the front diff stuff was way easier than vice versa. Any truth to that?

Really doesn’t matter but I did do my trans first. Diff was last thing that went in.

I remember reading this too now that you mentioned the tq converter bolts. Not sure where i read it at. Maybe the FJ case thread?

Ah I knew there was something. Makes sense. Though is it still possible to get to the bolts if I did the front diff first?

It definitely would be a pain in the ass. I would recommend it. It was hard enough with it out

Make sure you have a good flex head ratchet too for that area. You can’t get a torque wrench in there so red loctite bolts and give her an ugg

10-4. I was looking at a transmission in Cullman today and two of the guys there asked me “what do you mean you want to look at it?” like I was some crazy person who actually wants to see the vehicle it came from. I was shocked lol not buying from there anymore

Im looking there now, $1200 with 85K miles is the cheapest they got. I swear a month ago I saw these things going for around $900 with similar mileage
