First mod...

Made my first mod to the Taco today. I got sick and tired of looking at that "ugly stock" windshield. Got one of those fancy sun shades. Here are the before and after pictures.

LOL, good job. They are good shades. They are a bit of a PITA because they do not fold up very small but they work well and hold up. They reduce the interior temp in my truck about 30 degrees in the middle of the summer. I see you have the carpet dash cover also. Makes you look old but it's worth it. Also you can put some velcro patches on the dash cover if you want to look cool. Not sure everyone is gonna support this being a mod but most will at least give you a solid accessory.

 

Next add some fogs. I put fogs on my sr like yours and it looks so much better.

What a waste of money. You don't appear to have any sun where you live.

 

Looks awesome! Any vibrations from the needle bearing? U recommend a diff drop when installing a sun visor?

 

How big of a sunshade can I go before I have to CMC?

I purchased mine from the dealer it has a lifetime warranty . Great mod keeps the sun out .

 

How much was the labor to install the sunshade?

 

Any rubbing? Did you have to trim the A-pillar plastic?

 

I was going to say the bed mat is the most important mod.

 

If I put that sunshade on the front, I would want something to cover the side windows. Then you could do private things inside the truck more.

 

Y’all are terrible lol. OP don’t take offense everyone on here is a sarcastic jackass. Including myself so did have to do any cutting for this to fit? In all seriousness could use this in the summer with the black interior and leather.

 

Or you could be that guy a few months ago who tinted every window including windshield at 5%

 

It was included in the price lol .

 

I just tinted the full windshield in 50% ceramic. No sunshade needed... Nothing to put up or take down... And unlike a sunshade, tint actually does increase horsepower and increase fuel economy.

 

You can get a discount if you tell the dealership you just want to take it and install it yourself sometimes. I did that with the bed mat and they gave me a discount. But then I asked about the spare lightbulbs and they would not give me a discount for them. Or the wiper blades.

 

Bed mat install is a tough one
