If you run extended coilovers you’ll need new uppers for the extra length. Either company will work for coilovers all preference or color lol:rofl:

That’s nice. I want to do the same think to mine but I think I might run icon or fox 2.5. And how does your truck preform.

What up with your spindle? That looks bent if you compare it to the angle on mine. Is that just from the wheel being turned?

How does it ride for you. Is it good off-roading. Also, if I got that setup can I jump my truck a little.

About as 'mid travel' as you can get.

If you want to drive fast in the desert and jump it, just go LT from the start. Still working with like 9" of travel on stock length arms...

You can jump a stock truck, so I'm not really sure what you mean by that.

But it rides fantastic. And yes, it does great off road too. $2000+ worth of off-road suspension damn well better!

But I didn't get this setup for jumping. I'm more of a trail runner, mild rock crawler. I wanted something with more than stock travel. This fit the bill.

As @Squeaky Penguin said, if you want to mob it in the desert and jump it, go long travel from the start, and def get resi shocks.

I don’t think I want to long travel my truck. But with a coil over and uper control arm you guys think I can go faster then I would be able to stock. And once in a while do a small jump.

The difference is an internal bushing/spacer; based on the picture posted, there's no way you would be able to tell the difference.

Plus, direct replacements are available in both regular and extended as they are the same coilover sans the above stated.

If you don't want to long travel, why bother jump it?

Can you call the extended coilovers 'direct replacement's if they require aftermarket UCAs? I thought 'direct replacement' meant no other modifications necessary.

Yes; lessen the preload so you don't sit too high and run into alignment issues when getting aligned.

Even w/less preload, you could still over extend the OEM UCAs w/extended coilovers.

Only go long travel if you have down time and knowledge about LT it is bolt on but there’s more to it.

There is way more to factor into the equation than suspension when talking about jumping.

Check out this thread to see what starts to happen to your truck when you go hard, and be prepared because it will happen
