Did you add an amp or just replace the head unit?

The oil change isn't part of the 5k service? I swear the sticker that came on the window when I bought my truck said to bring it in for a complimentary oil change at 5k.

Nope. All they did was rotate the tires. Said oil change at 10k. I’m not real hip on that long, especially for the first few thousand miles of the engine’s life.

Anything brand name will sound better than factory. Myself I purchased Focal but due to cold (central Alberta Canada) it will have to wait until spring.
But anything from Pioneer, Kentwood, Alpine...even Sony will sound better. You will need speakers adapters front and rear, look this guys up https://www.sonicelectronix.com/

I got my 1st oil change at 8500klms although Toyota Canada said the 1st one was suppose to be at 10000klms. My response was that I was going on a long trip and I would be over the 10000klms 1/2 way through the trip, so they changed it anyway.

It’s a Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX. It works pretty well for me. Not earth shattering sound or anything, but a huge upgrade over stock in sound. Not to mention features. I used the Maestro link.

Frankly, I wasn’t going to raise hell over it. They go by what the book says, and that’s fine. I’ll at least take a tire rotation out of the deal. At the end of the 25k free service, I’ll go to the same 6-7k oil change/tire rotation interval I’ve run for years. I don’t get 5000 mile tire rotations, frankly.

Yeah, based on your symptoms that you presented with those test could be ordered virtually and carried out on your own accord. If the practitioner is good and knows what they are doing. But when you go into the ER you get everything done
So sometimes it’s a catchall. Glad you are getting it taken care of

I learned that I had no idea how to drop the spare tire or where the jack points were. That is no longer a prob.

Also leaned that these rear tires didn’t have nearly the same amount of tread as the front.

I'm going to 6000 miles oil change and tire rotation too. That served me well on my old Liberty, I'm sure it be fine here too.

That was for the 10,000 service? Wow seems expensive. My 5k service invoice said the actual cost was like $38 US.

I could do the oil change myself and lube the prop shaft for like $40 in my cost and pay a local tire shop like twenty something to rotate the tires which would be easiest for me since i don't have a floor jack and a couple pair of jack stands.

Did you rotate your tired front to back periodically? Looks like that tire was under inflated.
