I had hernia surgery in May 2019. Between a trip to Florida and the surgery I was off work from the last week of April till middle of June. It was worth every minute, just not having to go to work.

One down. Used an 1/8” end mill for a flat bottom and ground a 3 flute tap flat for the most threads. Didn’t countersink it any either cause it would take a thread or two with it.

I was going to Taekwondo with my son but got scared off a bit when a few people were starting to go in for knee replacements, which I wasn't really interested in!

We stopped going not long after my son got his 1st degree black belt and I was a green belt (belt chart for reference). Up until then, myself and the second guy from the left and his wife were on a pretty good pace of testing for the next belt once per month. For comparison, my kids were testing every 2-3 months. :D

I had no idea but apparently someone took a picture for the website that I ended up in - I'm holding one of the boards for the kid in the middle who was practicing for his next belt. Yes, he hit me with a back fist, but that's what you're trained to do - go through the board, not just up to it.

    "Eh" is Canadian.

"Don'tchaknow" and "youbetcha" are Minnesotan. As is "yeahsure".

    :anonymous:

In all honesty, I can say I've never said any of the things you hear in the movie Fargo. I credit being born in Georgia for that. Then again, I never say y'all, either.

    What kind of 3-wheeler?

That's the reason my left shoulder is jacked up, four wheeler vs. tree. Back when I drank I decided it was a good idea to take the ole 2-stroke Suzuki late one Friday night and do donuts in the woods. I did about 10 and said "one more", it came around, grabbed and Dukes of Hazzard 2 wheeled me straight into a tree.

Man, eh was alive and well with the Minot locals when I was there. The other 2 are def more popular in MN, but I heard them a fair bit around town. Admittedly, a lot more of it was from my Minnesotan family members.

During my martial arts career we would do demonstrations. And I would suspend a girl between two chairs and break three boards on her stomach and not hit her stomach. Then I would go things like break a board with a piece of paper on the front and not break the paper. Blow through 26” of stacked ice. Miss those days but politics took over when I was teaching. So I left.

Morning all. Only surgeries here are 4 wisdom teeth, and an attempted plate in my wrist after getting landed on during a motocross race.

Yeah. Like I got the scar but didn’t get the plate. Ended up with a bunch of pins instead
