HID or LED low beam to match pt413-42191 fog lights

I've been searching trying to find an answer, but my search skills and bulb lingo is basic at best.
I just installed the

$134 Toyota Genuine Parts - Led Foglight Black (PT413-42191)

pt413-42191 fog lights on my truck
Would like to replace the low beam bulb to match the color of the fog lights.
I think I read that the fog lights come in at about 6500k. Not sure if that's correct.
Can anyone direct me to what bulb to look at to do this?

HID since the light produced acts more similar to halogen than LED does and will work better in the stock halogen housings

 

Any idea which specific bulbs to look at?

I actually read through a lot of that and still couldn't figure out which way to go.
Guess I'll give it another go and try to figure it out

 

I have the same lights, I went with the DDM 5500k kit. It matched the OEM led fog lights really well. But I didnt put electric grease in the plugs, so water got in there and shorted out the ballast

Im going to order another kit this summer.

It's easy. If your low beam is an H11, put in an H9. It's much better to be able to see at night and not blind oncoming traffic than it is for the lights to match color.

 

It’s a better alternative than LED...

For my next stupid question, should I just ignore the description that says it's a fog light? These would replace my low beams, right?

 

Yes. They will replace your low beam (and high beam too if you wanted too, but it’s not much of an improvement in high beams).

I think my biggest takeaway is the danger in the led light not having the ability to adequately provide long distance lighting. The lights appear brighter, immediately in front of you, but what lies ahead is poorly lit.
Definitely something to consider. Tipping the scale in favor of fit over function, when something as important safety-wise such as visibility is at stake, is where I start to take my foot off the gas.
I'm gonna have to get back to the other thread from @crashnburn80 to see what the difference really is, now that I have a little better understanding of what's going on.

Ok so I just read through @crashnburn80 entire post again and I feel I'm finally starting to grasp the information.
His review on the hikari's that @Puppypunter shared the link too seems to pretty good.
The distance projection is better than your typical led it seems, and also seems to provide better output than the stock bulbs at the 42' measurement.
The hot spot is less than the halogen bulb, but still appears to be providing adequate light at a distance.
Starting to lean towards the Hikari's.

 

They are great... Good luck finding them in stock. TW members wiped out inventory

 

Yeah, those and the new Morimotos are pretty much the selection for acceptable LEDs. They bounce in and out of stock on Amazon. If you’re patient, they seem to go on sale every 3-4 months for as low as $45 or so, but usually around $60ish. But if your like me and just want that sweet 6000K, the $30 isn’t that big of a deal
