@Chris202OR What size tire do you have on that pic again. I like the finished look and knowing you have TRD technology on your suspension is a good feeling and peace of mind. I might elect to go for BF Goodrich All Terrain.

My current tires are 255/85/16 mastercraft cxt. It was a really hard decision to not get bfg’s again. I had a set of 265/70/16 for 70k and I loved them. They do make k02s in 235/85/16 which would be a similar tire setup to mine.

Glad to hear dealers are not covering or disconnecting them. Amazing the price swing when the kit is $1350 and it calls 3-4 hours labor. Should be standard outside labor rates

So if a person wanted to upgrade their suspension without a lift, just purchase shocks and struts. Move the circlip to lowest position would give 0 lift like the regular 5100? Appears this strut has three positions as 5100 has four. I like the idea of a TRD Bilstein and the lower price compared to the 5100 just sweetens the deal.

I must admit, I was a little surprised to see how much "guts" are exposed. I feel like I now need to do something to protect those components. Well, not turning back now....

What's the price for this tarted up SR? $42k because lift is $4k and tires are $4k and the rest is labor and nitrogen in the tires

Supposed to be marked at 39k according to the poster.
    FB_IMG_1614372921648.jpg FB_IMG_1614372929579.jpg

Edit: $39800 is the actual selling price. It is an SR. It was originally $35000 stock. Not to bad considering all the extras. Lift, tires, wheels, roof rack, grille etc.

$39k that's hard nope and an easy way to end up upside down. That's top end TRD OR money for an SR that's basically featureless. I could totally see a teenager slapping Pro badges on it to impress that young gals

Picked mine up today. I don’t have new wheels/tires (yet). It rides smoother, IMHO (That’ll change when I add ATs). It is aesthetically more truck-like and less squat. I kept the fog lights in, contrary to kit specs. Not sure why I’d want to remove them?

Sorry about the drastic color changes. Had blue skies yesterday and overcast today.

I’m excited to throw some wheels/tires on soon. I’m thinking XD840 SPY II wheels and Toyo AT3 265/70R17, tho’ I may go up to 275.

Here is another pic I’d like to share for anyone that would like to get the lift kit. This was sent to me by the dealership to show me how my Truck is going to look like. Red Truck will go on sale at their dealership soon. Tire is a 285.

I am scheduled to have the kit installed next Friday including the trd splash guard with new tires and wheels. I fell for the 285 tire.

Potentially the wheel I want installed. 61E22854-F245-4E7E-96FD-061B4E2FB12F.jpg

Can anyone show me where it says specifically the hours of labor needed for this install? A dealer I spoke to is saying its more like 6-7 hours of labor. Thanks.

WOW, that looks like it has a much bigger lift in it. It looks great. Your pics are making seriously think of getting this, despite not wanting the old school grille. Cheers

I am surprised 285s fit with this lift. I wonder if they used wheel spacers?

Anyone know of a Georgia Toyota dealer that is more honest than this? After speaking to the "master tech" I was quoted for 9 hours of labor since this kit is so "extensive to install". I have the quote in my email and keep wondering why it would take this long after speaking from the hot sheet that there is no reason it should take 9 hours.

Yes it will fit without spacers providing you order the correct offset on your wheel. I will have to verify the offset of the wheel from the dealer by next week to share it with you. I am told that I can interchange wheels and still use my OEM 265 wheels and rims provided I use spacers in order to clear the control arms. I previously thought the other way around.

I did just that, and was informed it was now 8 hours of labor. Currently looking for another shop to see what they say.
