vF Tuner for the 3.5L Tacoma

No. I ordered on Sunday actually, then got the Order Confirm email on Tuesday. That has a link to a PDF all the way at the bottom, but nothing about a master key.

 

check your spam folder also check the email you put in the order. If you still can't find it, send us a message

 

Ski check your user ID close. When I was having issues my user ID was close but not correct...it prefills but not correct!

 

Email in the order is fine because I got Order Confirm and Shipping Confirm. Nothing in Spam. So normally there are 3 emails? Confirm, Shipping, and then Master Key?

 

That's what I have. Ordered mine on the 23rd, got my initial order confirmation then. Yesterday I got my shipping confirmation and then shortly after got an email with subject "[Request Received] VFTuner" that had my master key.

 

Cool, thanks! Probably get mine soon but sent a zendesk note just in case.

Did you also order the tune pack or did you wait until you get the software and cable to read info first?

 

I am waiting for my cable first. I am planning to try @PapaRee 's tune first, but I expect to ultimately buy the tune pack as well.

Maybe change the downshift table names? Ex: "downshift schedule 2-1"

 

Will the blue I have info on some of the non self explanatory maps?

 

@OVTune , two tune pack questions

- if we buy the tune pack now, will that include any future improvements and additions to them (ie gear hold, performance etc)?

- with 1.3 including TCU and other items, does that mean you will be working on new tune pack files, or are those parameters already things you tweaked in 2.0 files, and the new part is that they are editable by those who choose to do their own work?
Basically, asking if VF 1.3 will mean new tune pack files with additional capability, or if it’s just more to edit but no change to 2.0 files.

 

Update on the 5 credits rather than 9.

I did not update to the latest software when I set up my master key. Now that I’ve updated it still only has 5 credits. I’ve reached out on zen desk as I only have enough to unlock the ECU ID but not my VIN and flash to truck

 

@OVTune I've brought it up every so often both here and via email but I still have not received the 04B25 tune pack that I purchased/requested a number of months ago. Although at this point I'd take a 2021 MT US tune pack since I haven't encountered another B25 truck since then

 

What is everyone's average turnaround time when requesting credits from Vftuner website to them showing up in the VFtuner latest software?

 

Plan on about two days.

 

We have been pretty quick at allocating credits now. Can be same day, or next morning depending on how late you order most of the time.

Ok. I dont think B25 is even supported in vF tuner atm

 

It is, I'd unlocked it in vF and had been editing the stock tune initially when waiting on the B25 pack.

But like I said, I'd rather receive the US MT '21 pack at this point. The one B25 guy I'd encountered sold his truck before I could even flash him with an edited stock map

 

Early adopter, just re-loaded a tune in order to make sure that the latest version of vFTuner worked for me.

VIN registration and tune writing went off without a hitch, especially since my driveway is with easy reception of my home wifi. Easier than ever before, and couldn't be happier.

Just wanted to post a happy, glitch-free experience.
