I've ran Cooper tires for years, on my Gen1. I'll likely not change from that brand.

Good for you buddy - as for the family...I believe greatly in helping - but there is a fine line between helping and enabling. It looks as if you realized that line!! I certainly appreciate how tough those decisions are - but as we both know, life lessons are hard but necessary. Again KUDOS to you buddy!!!!

I run the E Load Duratracs for the same reason, I have used them for years on a number of different trucks and always had good service from them. They air down very well too.

I ran them on my last rig for about 10k miles before selling. Not the best in snow and a bit of a hum on the road. Other than that, they have a firm sidewall so can handle being aired down quite a bit and the compound is soft enough to give good grip of on rocks without wearing out super fast. They have been beasts and have never let me down when I needed traction on the trails.
No issue with balancing, though this set seemed to need more tire weights than my last set. Almost at 10k miles again on these, and they are starting to develop a bit of a vibration, even after being rotated after 5k miles. But they did take a beating down in Moab shortly after I got them, so that doesn’t seem abnormal to me.

Thank you for the response! Good to know about the snow. The hum doesn't bother me as I have had the BF goodrich KM2 on my jeep which were pretty loud. I plan to be driving on sand (beach) and some light to moderate trails. I am also looking at the Cooper Evolution MT tire as well.

I had E load Duratracs that I ran on a LC200 and a 2019 Tundra on Rock Warrior wheels. Totally agree that those are great tires. They wore well and were great in the snow too. One difference I noted between the Ultraterrains and the Duratracs is that the Ultraterrains don't whine/hum at highway speeds like the Duratracs did--at least not yet.

I bought the new Ultraterrains at my local Discount Tire where I buy all my tires. I only received $240 credit for the original Wrangler Kevlars as they are known to be prone to punctures and are only 4-ply tires. Not at all popular tires with the locals that like to 4-wheel.

Looks great? I’m in the market as well and have the same truck and color. Is this stock suspension?

Kept thinking of going up a tire size but I think I'll stick with this size.
Stock wheels are going away very soon.
