She’s the dog fanatic. I just pay the food bills and support the hobby.

Don’t get me wrong, I love our dogs.... I just prefer a lower head count. .

She can name breeds 9 of 10 times, and there are a lot of them out there.

 

Sorry I have been MIA for a few days. I'm located in north Texas and as you may have seen in the news, we have been hit pretty hard with a snow storm that Texas is quite unprepared for as it's not even close to the norm. Currently have about 8 inches accumulated and have been without power for 3 or 4 days now. Should be close to back to normal by the weekend as temps are expected to get into the 60s. Hope you all are doing well!

 

Those are really good and at a really good price. Whats the material?

 

Both panels and the hinge are ABS. The hinge is plastic welded to each panel so there is no worries about leaving it outside or in your truck bed in the elements. Easy to clean too!

Haha absolutely not! Check out post #29 on page 2 of this thread for an install video I posted in which you will better be able to see the material in motion during install to help "get a feel" for the material. Not sure where you are located either but if you are near the Dallas/Fort Worth area in TX, I'd be more than happy to meet up with you so you can check them out in person. If not, please do check out that video and other pictures posted and let me know if there are other pictures/videos you'd like to see or if you have any other questions!

Can confirm, it is indeed not cardboard. That lovely Texas weather delayed it a bit but mine is here now. Should have pics of it installed with the other changes to the backseat storage next weekend.

 

That weather was quite the anomaly and shouldn't be a problem in the near future. Heck, we went from -2°F with 10 inches of snow to 80°F and sunny in less than a week. It was quite a week for Texas haha but I am glad it made it there to you and hope you enjoy! Cant wait to see some installed pics.

I tried going that route with a homemade platform. But that occasional need to seat two more people kept creeping up.

Goose Gear has a great setup for a complete delete but it’s stupid expensive.

 

Wondering if it will fit with my sub and amp on the back wall in my 3rd gen Tacoma

 

Great question, if the seats are still able to be folded back into position and click into place, then yes it will fit.

However, to be totally honest, unlike seats this platform is 100% made from ABS Plastic. Both panels and the hinge. So it most certainly would rattle if there was a sub directly behind it. So while yes it will work for it's intended use, the sub might be a little annoying during platform use. I cant say for 100% certainty as I dont have a sub behind mine but I've had subs in trucks and other cars before and they have a unique way of finding things to rattle so I would just want you to know that before purchasing.

 

Pups got some good use out of the platform today!

 

Yea my seats are able to snap back into place. Not to worried about the noise. I want to purchase for my dogs just want to make sure it will fit.
