They do have an open lawsuit I just read through...I don't do a lot of patent law so I don't know how standard this type of claim is...I'm guessing it's common..
Company A hires company B to develop a product...
Company B goes tits up and must be auctioned off...
Company A doesn't buy Company B...
So company C buys the assets of company B at auction and specifically does NOT purchase the contracts associated with Company A.
Company C then says "hey we bought some interesting tech here...let's develop this...." and hires back the laid off workers from Company B...
So company A sues Zomedica....

Ive got 2 limit sells set for zom I need filled. 230 at $2.75 and 300 at $5.00. The first limit sell will pay for my investment, then if the $5 hits ill be happy.

 

I was just having this strategy discussion with some friends...
We came to the conclusion that when you're banking on a STOCK and you're looking at 230x2.75=632.50 covers your in price on from your share total, 530 shares so you're buy in is $1.20 ish...So when the stock hits $2.75 you're selling to get $632...BUT if you let it ALL ride you have the ability to exit at $1.20 and STILL break even and if it goes to $5.00 you're realizing an extra $1150...I don't know what the stock is going to do but my advice would be at minimum set a trailing stop once you BREAK $2.75 and don't just set a market sell...
That's why you could take ALL your shares and hold them and when it gets to $4.00 set a $1 trailing stop...You're guaranteed out at $3 for all your shares but also you can climb essentially forever...But if you NEED that $632 then sell...

This is a GOOD strategy for Options because you can only trade options during the regular market and can't dump them if something happens after hours...Lock in your profits and ride...
But for shares...Don't be afraid to let more of it ride...again unless you NEED that money.

Yeah, I dont know enough about the different kind of orders to set all those different stops. I usually buy, set a limit that I want and leave it alone. I need to spend more time learning really.

 

Ok.
So what you want is a Trailing STOP limit order..what's your platform?
It's a sell order that ratchets up as the price goes up and then when the price falls it sells at the peak - your limit..
It's how I got out of $NRGU with profits and the relief is you don't have to watch the stock once it's set.

So you buy stock at $2. It goes to $5 you set a sell order with a $-1 trailing stop...
You see from this screencap...I have it ready to set an order to Sell 100 shares of $ZOM on a trailing stop limit with a $-1. Since the share price is presently $1.97 it's telling me the end value of the sale set now is $97 (1.97 x100 shares x -$1 = $97)
Now if I left this order open and the stock went to $2.50 the order would amend to SELL 100 shares ZOM trailing stop $-1 and the new sell price would be $1.50...So if $ZOM falls to $1.65 it doesn't sell...and then climbs back up to $3.10...NOW the sell price is ratcheted up to $3.10-$1 $2.10...
This continues until the stock falls and hits your sell price...
This is THE best way to make money on stocks...Instead of just SELLING at $2.75, You set a trailing stop of $-0.25 at $3. Now you're guaranteed a market sale at $2.75 but it can keep climbing..Now a lot of people reassess the out price as share prices go up. I had a -$10 trailing stop for $NRGU but once it hit $150 that was very small % of the share price so You up it to maybe -10% ($15)
You can choose $ or % for the trailing stop amount...

 

Only thing is your stocks have to actually gain money first to set these maneuvers. That's the hard part
