I agree but it is what it is.

the denver area is fucking blowing up with everyone moving here right now. I can't even get people out to quote a 800-1000sqft flooring replacement or fix my fucking driveway that has been fucked since september when axle roommates wet wipes blew up the sewer main and cut up the driveway.

A friend of a friend is an electrician and has been too busy to even come quote the cash buddy price on the run.

That's how it was with my dad too. Totally different person now in the past 10 years than who he was growing up, better late than never indeed.

I'll do a little digging to make sure I'm 100% accurate since I'm industrial electricity and it's different for residential stuff. But I'm fairly certain what I said is good for what you're trying to do.

I can't imagine being in a relationship like that being told what you can and can't have for yourself.

on the other hand though, some people are really twisted when it comes to priorities...I dunno. Not always a black and white situation I guess.

I appreciate the optimism. It's good to hear that yours came around for you. Are you still close?

I don't have high hopes for my dad. I talked to him for the first time in months the other day and he asked if I was still working. Yep. Cool. Just wanted to spend another 30 minutes bragging about his travels, work, new toys, blah blah blah til I told him I was out of time. He will take everything he can for himself then say it's for the family. I was fascinated by breaking bad for years. I had to watch it 5~ times over the last 8ish years before it clicked. My dad is walter white. He's a selfish, manipulative, toxic person who does shitty things then says he did it for the family and expects to be hailed as a hero.

They've fought hard for years, she's filed papers atleast 3 times over the last 2 years, each time they "work it out" and he ends up selling something.

Definitely worth a read for me so far, one guy linked a site that sells "the big 3" kits for audio installations that shows the length of each wire... it also shows they sell their kits for 115 bucks which I think is reasonable? But I'm not sure cause I get electrical cables at wholesale prices through my job

Forget reasonable. Charge what you need to charge to buy a pallet of session lager so we can play a hundred games of rock paper scissors

It's ridiculous, this last time they were split for 3 months, he kind of got a promotion at work and started making some great money.

    They worked it out
