Dear Diary, we closed on the townhome yesterday, woohoo. now a couple frantic weeks of fixing up, flooring install, painting, etc, and move in last part of March or sooner.

Haha, people are being paid for some of the stuff, mostly critical path stuff.

We were able to get the HVAC system replaced as part of the deal as well

You ever try casters for the surf? I started using a Penn fathom ii and squal last year, they’re pretty fun, just more effort.

 

Ive got a ton of baitcaster that i bass fish with. But with line capacity at a premium, i just prefer a spinning real in the surf. I usually run 30lbs braid and on these 8000 size penns i should have close to 550 yards behind the leader.

Just dont see enough reasons to go to a casting setup.
