Had them installed for 10 years, holding up great. Exhaust a bit raspy but that’s to be expected.

What are the perks of having it versus stock?

I didn’t really notice any difference when I put them on aside from noise and being very loud with my tiny muffler

Maybe if you want a supercharger and catless y pipe, but as someone who only has headers I can’t say I’d do it again.

Lmao. Good to hear. I thought it might improve performance with the TRD exhaust.

    My shit is all stock.
I think that on a N/A truck, there’s really not a significant amount of power to be gained by just adding headers and a cat back. There’d definitely be more noise though. I would suggest the Y-pipe along with your TRD exhaust as a better and far less spendy (not to mention easier install) starting point.

I would do a equal length y pipe or a URD Y pipe. That and a cat back was probably the best sounding I ever got my truck to be.

being able to change out your starter easier lol. Aside from that, nothing noticeable from the seat of your pants dyno. Unless your into boosted engines, or big v8s with a lot of exhaust flow, I can’t imagine this type of upgrade has a lot of benefits.
