Let's See Your Cats!!!

Someone here a few days ago mentioned cats mutual grooming and it just dawned on me that's what this little one is doing to me most times in the morning but sometimes at night. She the most licking cat I've ever seen. But other family members say she doesn't do it to them. She'll get right up in my face and lick, ugh, but I love her...lol, its when she thinks my eyelids must be dirt that I have to shoo her away.

 

My wife's cat licks me all the time too. If I sit next to him he'll lick my arm for 10 minutes sometimes. Never licks my wife lol.

Our other cat Harley won't lick at all

 

I've mentioned my boys doing that often. It's happened but very rarely do they do that to any of the human members of our family.

If they're grooming you then you're most certainly loved!

Yeah, licking for cats is grooming so if they groom you consider yourself one of the chosen few bc they don't do that for anyone

Munch has a visitor this evening...



We now know that this pretty little outdoor girl cat is named Diamond (for the marking on her forehead) and is a 1 1/2” year old spayed female from directly across the street.

She’s made our back porch part of her daily wanderings and it drives Munch absolutely bat-shit! Puffed tail thrashing about and he does this low howl/growl noise I’ve never heard him do before.

Oddly enough, Ollie and Marty have seen her too and simply DGAF that she’s there.

Munch takes personal offense to her being on the property.

 

Just this evening when I got home...Pack is our one Male cat and he gets worked up from time to time as well.

Rascal is back to her old funny self and is running around my place and playing with her toys and wanting lot's of attention . I've not seen her this active and playful in 10 years before I got Snickers and Gizmo

Maybe she was intimidated by the other cats but it's awesome to see her playful again . She also has taken over waking me up ea morning just like how Gizmo did
