    Morning crew,
Creed you mentioned cable the other day, I get that and probably call it the same sometimes as well. I think I say wire rope more often because that's what I see in riggers handbook. Go figure, the box from Warn says steel rope. You say shackle or clevis? Shackle here. This made me also think about what some tools are called elsewhere in the world, like a adjustable wrench I call a crescent wrench other parts call it a thumb wrench, lol. I sometimes say thumbwrench now sometimes because it seems fitting. And finally there's the Slug wrench other places England maybe, they call it a Flogging Spanner, I say that one sometimes because it just sounds funny, also fitting.
Now to investigate some winch install video...don't believe I'll do it today I much prefer 60 degree Temps or warmer

3 weeks after surgery I developed cellulitis in my foot and lower calf. Still having problems with it 6 months later. Kinda learned to just live with it. Tylenol helps.

Getting old, there's nothing fun about it anymore. I suppose as long as I don't lose too many of my marbles then I'll be happy with aches and pains. I'm not terribly bad yet but only 53 so the few aches n what not are expected I guess.
Read stories about alzheimer disease or friends that have loved ones with it...that's depressing. I wouldn’t want my family to see me that way.

I have not. I may have to slide over there one day, it’s only 20 minutes away. Thanks!

I say clevis and crescent wrench.

I was watching the three stooges once and one of them said “hand me the rooster bar” the other one said “you mean the crowbar?” He said “that’s what the rooster does doesn’t he?”. Ever since I’ve called it a rooster bar

That's a terrible way to go. Watched my Dad through Parkinson's with lewy body, his father we think also had it, I'm like a carbon copy of him. My wife's been told I'd rather go out old yeller style than what any of those diseases do to you.

And on a lighter note, only surgery I've had is stitches for being young and dumb and having a few cysts the size of golf balls being removed.

I have a picture of the one my wife took out of my leg but I don't think anyone wants to see that.

I have a ton of others that could come out (thanks, dad!), too, but since they're less visible and don't hurt, they can stay for now.

    A thing or two...
We always had one growing up. I bought my first TV in Jan 2019.

I need to get my Real ID license sooner than later.

The only major surgery has been a right side Orchiectomy in April 2019. Luckily, the biopsy came back as the most common, least aggressive forms of testicular cancer, and it hadn't spread anywhere so chemo/radiation therapy wasn't required.

Only other procedures have been cutting out an ugly mole on my shoulder (done in office) and a colonoscopy. Both were around the 2014-2016 time frame if I remember correctly.
