3" and 35s

Do you happen to remember the style/configuration you ordered?
There seems to be a shit ton of options in the drop down menu selection.
I'm hoping its the default one cause that's what I'm about to order.

If I decide to put some on the actual fender flare I’ll probably order some meant to fit a 1/8 inch edge. I don’t think the one I ordered would fit the plastic well.

Probably have Discount tire mount the tires to the wheels tomorrow.
CMC Friday then I'll puttem on and see where and how much fender I need to trim.
What type of Jigsaw blade do you boys recommend? TPI n such

 

I’m on 315/70r17s and a 3” lift but it took a lot. JD fab LCA mount subframe pushes the LCAs forward up to an inch allowing for extra caster and clearance for big tires with offset wheels. Rocking -25mm offset with very little, almost no rub

 

I trimmed wayyy more of the cab mount today Still wasn’t enough





It still rubs as you can see in the picture below. I wonder if my 1.25 spacers are the problem. The wheels are 7.5 wide with 4.5 back spacing. Maybe if I did like a 3/4 spacer instead it’d be better.

I'm hoping this gray will look good and less conspicuous than the normal black with my Silver Streak Mica paint.

 

Yeah spacers create issues right there. I’ve been fighting that same issue on my setup up until recently when I did the whole jd fab lower subframe setup. That’s the extreme option but if you know someone who can weld nice it’s solid

to me it just looks like you're trimming the wrong area.
trim the rubbing area, not the whole area underneath where it isnt rubbing!

 

Was this a CMC or relocate?

 

Results of all the damn work I put in. Still rubbing fenders, so I will cut the fronts tomorrow. Excuse the slow driving, getting used to the throttle response on ov tune. Overall very pleased with the outcome.

 

Looks like all the work has paid off!

 

Man, when you stopped looked like the truck was gonna do a shoulder roll. Thank god for longer wheelbases. My jeep might have rolled on that.

Going slow is good. My first time with my new jeep in moab, I took it super slow and that equaled no damage.

Getting Lib's Cab relocate done on Friday.
Shop labor is only $75 an hour and these guys are legit so it shouldn't be more than $225+tax
Still gotta trim and reinstall the flares but all the "necessary" work on my part is done.
Probably gonna trim the rear too but at least I can get them put on this weekend and not have a major flop like this past friday where I went for a CMC and to get them put on but they wouldn't clear the front fender flares.

Since I ripped out the fender liners what type of cloth/filter should I wrap around the intake tube up there?
Just need to wrap/zip tie something around the 4" diameter tube up there so my Airaid CAI doesn't have to deal with shit it shouldn't.
