what difference did you see with the UCA? I’m still sitting on factory, but will probably install SPC’s this spring.

They sell blemish wheels, which I hear dont have noticeable imperfections. @RobP62 is more of an expert on the subject of SCS wheels.

The biggest is that it drives less like a boat with my setup. I’m not 100% sure I can feel anything else at the moment but just got a cold alignment yesterday. Don’t forget to go into the group buy thread and ask Headstrong if there are any deals for the uppers...

Thanks for all that info...where do you get your alignment done? I’m not sure your run of the mill alignment shop would handle the aftermarket UCA’s too well. Thoughts?

I’ve gotten 2 done since I put the uppers on, originally set at position “D”, the first at Firestone and the second at Jones Toyota.
At Firestone I asked for them to set up the new tpms and 0 to -.03 camber, 3-4 caster and 0 to -.03 toe. They got camber and toe in but caster was 2.4. They didn’t do the tpms reset. A few days after that alignment I hit a large pot hole and it knocked one of the uppers slide nut. Steering wheel ended up off center as well.
I took that chance to nice to position “E” on both uppers and the slide nuts about mid way. Knowing I needed my 12month service, the tpms and the ECU TSB I set up an appointment with Karen at Jones Toyota. She’ll help you out with the alignment. I gave her a sheet with what I wanted and they got it pretty close, caster -.1, camber 3.4 and toe 0, this is off memory looking at the page. I’ll double check and update the numbers if they’re wrong. I also only drove home from the dealer but it “felt” a lot better driving. I need to torque and mark the slide nuts and check the upper through bolt torque now that I got a crows for that will fit. Right now it’s at “that’s probably tight enough.”
I think @RobP62 recommends Grimm auto works in Forest Hill as well.

Morning fellas. Went to harbor freight yesterday. First project that I didnt break something or didn't have a tool I needed. Did take like 6 hours after having to make the mounting holes on my bumper bigger. The girl got a face lift and a nose job.

I'm going to cut up the stock grille, hopefully tastefully and then also make the wiring look better.

I agree. I left OBT and another yota FB group because of drama. After posting a pic of some of us shooting up here at my cabin a OBT moderator messaged me that "OBT is not the group for you". The one moderator Drew is cool tho, but I still left. That message left a bad taste in my mouth about that group. Great group here tho.

Took my new to me fishing kayak out for a test ride yesterday. No fish. Just wanted a shakedown run. Felt great to be on the water for a few minutes. Come on warmer weather!
