The 429 got about 8! Ha! Dark green with wood decal. I had a Ford of about the same vintage (pale yellow) with a 351 Cleveland. Someone stole the drivelines out of both of them back in the 80's. They were at a shop where I had planned to put the 351 into the Marquis.

Just ordered a car seat for Baby Addie. Her Mother wanted an infant to toddler not a convertible model, so I ordered a Graco 4 to 35 pound rear facing model. Did some research and Graco seems to be a quality seat. Will be part of her baby shower presents. Probably sounds weird, but makes me feel good her initial ride home from the hospital Addie will be safe and secure. Who knows what she will weigh, and I will jump for joy when she outgrows this car seat!

That’s what is driving me nuts. Sister In law works in the hospital, got hers after I got my second and my brother got his first. No. Rhyme or reason to who gets them.
we got her and her hubby registered for bucks but nothing other then “hey we’re starting soon”. My sil got them registered elsewhere as well but nothing yet.

The vaccine doesn’t stop you from getting it like a traditional vaccine. It turns you into an asymptomatic carrier if you do happen to get it, which is why it’s still important to take preventative measures to minimize chances of spreading it even with the vaccine.

Wouldn't being asymptomatic mean you are less likely to know that you are infected?

That’s why they want us to wear a mask forever.
The problem is the so called experts will not come out and say they don’t know? I really think if you are in a location that has had a lot of cases and vaccinations you are close to herd immunity. IMHO.
I am about as much a scientist as Bill Gates but I work everyday on the frontline with this shit.

Funny, the initial ride home for a lot of us here was probably in the front seat in moms arms. ;) (And mom wasn't wearing a seat belt either)

I just hope that what Dr Fauci said in this article is accurate about being able to shed the masks in groups of family members that have been vaccinated. It’s getting old talking to my elderly parents through a mask and not being able to give them a hug. My second daughter is almost a year old and I can count on one hand the number of times they have held her. My first daughter saw them once every two weeks prior to COVID-19.
    :annoyed:

My 89 y/o mother gets her second dose this week. In 2 weeks I’m heading to PA to give her a big hug. I got my 2 my dose on January 4th. I feel it will be safe.
That really sucks for your parents. Hope they get to hold them soon. The isolation part of this is what’s really the hardest part.
