Received and installed my scoop light today. Got it from SpartanXCustoms on Instagram. Real solid unit and quality build. Super bright. First night picture facing the grass and utility building is the scoop light by itself. The second picture facing the grass and utility building was taken with my scoop light, my 2 Baja Design S2s and my 2 PIAA 10” Ion fog lights. I also played with the strobe function on my Switch-Pros and had it flashing. Seizure inducing brightness. Install took me a half hour. Great instructions.

Honestly it wasn’t bad. I was not looking forward to the cut of the front bumper but there are s9me great directions posted by @Hodakaguy that really helped walk through it. It was a 6 hour job in total but I was really taking my time. Definitely worth the effort for the increased capabilities of having front tow points and a winch for me.

He made a couple but he said it’s a lot of components to get it to work just right so he doesn’t make them anymore. I would’ve loved a yellow one like KARR.

It was a super productive week for the truck. Installed the following:
    • Off-Grid Engineering dual battery system with the Redarc BCDC1225D and a Full Throttle Group 35 AGM.
    • SPOD 8-source BantamX with the HD controller. Wired up the ditch lights so far to it.
    • Spiker Engineering hood struts.
    • Expedition Essentials 3TPAM.
    • SDHQ Battery Terminals
    • Also built custom length wire harnesses for my grill lights and ditch lights with my new soldering station and put some nylon split loom on everything to clean it up!
Very happy with all these products. Also got to put a few hundred miles off-road on the truck too so overall I'd say it was a pretty good week!

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
Due to crappy weather lately the mods on my Taco have slowed to a trickle. I did get a bit of above 0C weather today so I modded my snowblower with side marker lights and replaced the headlight bulb with an LED.
Note, the side marker lights are for a 2nd gen Tacoma license plate.

It was a while ago, but changing out the stock reverse light bulbs for Diode Dynamics Backup LED XPR Cool White has been great. They really help with visibility at night when reversing, and also give a boost to the not so great night mode of the OEM reverse camera.

This is great! Did you just have to DM the seller via Instagram or is there a specific website with pricing and options?

    A couple of updates:

1.) I finally washed my beloved 2018 Sport LB after almost 6 months! My baby also turned 3,600 miles in a little over two years.

2.) Traded in my undercover 2020 red access cab, 4cyl SR (note, I removed wheels/tires, decals, and all of the other extras b/f trade in).

3.) Bought 2021 4x4, off road, army green. I must admit it was a little difficult buying a short bed because I've always owned and love the look of the long beds. But something about the army green in the short bed made the decision much easier. Love the truck so far. Up next, I will be lifting the truck 2.5-3 inch to put in the KO2s (285/70/17) and gray sema wheels I had on my 2020 access cab (only 4k miles). Will updated pictures of the AG next week after the lift and tires.

My 2018 big boy (white sport) is happy with its baby brother (2021 AG) :)
