While it’s tough to describe, the front just feels more bouncy. It could have been I was on higher alert for anything since that happens after driving once replacing stuff but felt a little too much.
Before the UCA change i can’t say it was as bouncy with feeling every bump.
I have about 3” upfront and when I ordered my kit back in July or Aug, there was only a choice for performance or constant. Now I think it’s also 2.5” and 3” on either. I got performance for both front and rear (leafs). I set mine originally at 8 &7/8 for driver and 8 & 3/4 for passenger side.
Overall I’ve been very happy with the kit. It was/is a little stiff and I’m hoping the things I’ve done will help a little. I think weight would help it too.

Got an alignment done thins morning before everything started to freeze. While not the numbers I wanted, they’re better than what they were. I’ll be taking it to another one in a few weeks since I have the lifetime alignment. I could not drive it more than just home due to everything starting to freeze but it seemed to drive fine. I’ll do more testing later. Didn’t feel as bouncy either.

My wife took a drive with me today and also said if feels more bouncy and feels more like a truck.
I don’t think it felt that bouncy at 40psi so I’ll go up to that but it really might just be the E rated tires. I also removed the center bearing spacers and found some at half the thickness.
She didn’t complain about the ride being too harsh, just that it feels more like a truck.

Yea, I’m not too sure. Tonight it didn’t feel bad but I had hit a really large pot hole and it knocked my alignment out of whack. I noticed the ball joint on my passenger side slide inward.
I might take this chance, since I’m going to need to get Firestone to check it out, to lower it by .5” and see how that goes. Going to try and adjust them while still on the truck.

Ironman video of the skid plates- https://youtu.be/Gqu3CWjNdYo

I’d be more interested if there was a removable plate for the oil filter.

I've been intrigued by these. Good price for quite a bit more protection front to back for the price, but a bit less protection side to side.

Anyone add an axle shim under the leaf or remember how far down the center pin head is?
I’m chasing a slight vibration and rather than do the maths right now (probably will do soon) I’m doing the most common fixes, CB drop (helped a little) and now looking at 3° axle shims. I’m looking at Toytec (SPC) and Headstrong shims since they can slide in without removing the center bolt. I just want to check that the center bolt head will still go into the recess.
I noticed the vibs with oem and new wheel/tires starting a little above 50mph.

I know, I went into the cart to confirm it worked and everything. It's a pretty damn good deal for powder coated skids.

Edit: Ha, I like that edit. I still got my $600 in gubment money to spend, too.

Only think holding me back is the All Pro IFS skid at half that price. Part of me says I don't *need* that much skid plate from the Ironmans, and that the money saved can be better spent elsewhere on the truck.

Just started researching this lift today, and after reading the first 20 or so pages, and 15 or so last pages, it seems like everyone likes these for the most part. Now that I see that there's a 25% off coupon plus some cheesy traction boards, I'm really tempted. I was originally looking at 6112s and a rear kit from wheelers, but I've been waiting for them to have a sale for too long, and it seems 6112s are on a massive backorder, so I'm considering these now. Has anybody had any experience with rust on the coilovers or shocks themselves? I see some leaf spring rusting is pretty common, but how have the shock bodies held up? For those of you with steel bumpers and winches, how does the ride feel at 2-3"?

So far a little surface oxidation on the coils or shocks and I will be hitting them up with Woolwax starting next fall. I’ve got no armor on so I can’t help with that question. So far I really like the lift though it is a little on the stiff side. @2013XSPX might be able to get you a better deal than through the IM site but with the 25% off I’m not sure. Good luck.

Edit- You can see the oxidation on the bottom plate a lock plate nuts-

Does anyone have travel numbers for the rear shocks? IIRC the fronts are about 5" which is standard, but are the rears extended at all? I know some leaf leaf packs give more droop so I'd have to get extended brake lines, but I haven't seen anybody in here have to install them. For reference the other leaf/shock combo I was looking at has shocks with about 9" of travel.
