FS: UNDER SEAT COMPRESSOR MOUNT (2005-2021 TOYOTA TACOMA)

@EasyDoesIt , so when it's raining , compressor running , the cab gets soaked

 

Super cool..... but what about the rear facing vents?

 

Interested to see if anyone has pics with a Viair installed using this mount. I have a Viair 400P-RV that I wouldn't mind getting permanently mounted. It would definitely have to be under the passenger seat because with the front seat jackers I have now my driver seat is already borderlint too tall.

That could be a problem but you could leave the door cracked with minimum water getting inside. I live in the desert so this is not a big concern but I can see how folks in the PNW might be concerned....maybe find a tree or awning to park under while you air up?

This is defiantly not a perfect solution but just another solution for Taco/4Runner owners.

There are two large cutouts on the mount to account for the floor vents. Even with the largest compressor (Twin ARB), the vents aren't blocked.

Here's a 400p Automatic mounted to the V1 plate.



The ViAir compressors will work on driver or passenger side with the normal front Seat Jackers and .75" of rear Seat Jackers.

I think if you replace that hole for the air hose with a bent tab to mount the hose, then the hose attachment will be parallel with the seat, allowing you to close the door when using the compressor.
