Let us know when your free. Plan a event around your schedule.

if you build it, they will come!

plus it will most likely not be a gong show like the trips @Norilsk plans :poking::stirthepot:

Looking to trade, 35’s on scs wheels for stock wheel and tires. Reason for trading is because I want to wheel harder.

Hoping covid doesn’t screw it up!

    Yes and no.

Cant air those dedicated snows down as far.

I run my Cooper ST Maxx at 5 PSI for snow wheeling sometimes. :notsure:

@tacoma16 speaking of, what PSI did you wanks get constantly stuck at?

    Farook wants to know

Lol since the trail was so short no one aired down. Half the problem.

also, skinny tires you do get better traction, the issue is you won’t be able to “float” over obstacles. I found that with my 255’s in snow I would just bury myself. With the wider tires it would take a lot more to get buried in the snow. Same with mud, if there isn’t a bottom you’ll just get buried versus a wider tire that can float over it. Again, when you get to tractor tires with paddles and what not it becomes a difference ball game. But even looking at turf tires for tractors that are super wide to not dig up the areas.

Yep wider contact patch is better on deep snow. The polar Hilux ran 38s:

(It's also a good example of running boards being bad sliders.)

31’s are my stock size but these old school BFG’s suck in snow or ice....I run these in the summer although I didn’t even put them on in 2020.

It’s the same story like it happened at Rays a year ago. First to go makes the track that gets icier and deeper with the next vehicle pass, and so on.

The 35s only got stuck while recovering the 33s, so clearly it’s 31s or 35s that rocks

Side steps weight plenty too, sliders would add just a tad. They can make aluminum ones!

    Someone did air down!

    :fistbump:

    :bananadance:

    :yay:

PSI is one of the most important things in the snow is what I have learned. I have gone from getting stuck every 10 meters. To driving along at 8km/h with no issue by dropping from 12 PSI to 5 PSI.

It matters. I have seent it, learnt it, tried it, tested it. It matters.

Then sometimes it makes no difference, and you are stuck no matter what. That snow she is a beast
